If it's not an adaptation of the musical then I'm not interested.
I'd say I'm being refined Into the web I descend Killing those I've left behind I have been EndarkenedThats nice. You could make a thread for the musical if there isn't one instead.
Who watches the watchmen? The film had its premiere last night. Most of the reviews I've read are in the "B"/4 out of 5 range.
Diablo Cody apparently isn't credited on the final film.
Really? I wonder why.

Who watches the watchmen? To answer an earlier question, the movie is oficially rated R.
Which means it'll be MA here in Aus. Which is cool.
Does "MA" mean "Mature Audience"?
Comforting to know the movie is generally well liked so far. I'm weighing whether I wanna see it with a large audience opening weekend or wait a while.
Yeah Mature Audiences.
I am going to wait a bit to see it. I may wait until it hits the dollar theatre depending on what other flicks my wife wants to see.
Who watches the watchmen?I'm sure they'll throw a curveball on who the main character is really gonna be, like the original did.
Female main characters in horror films are the norm nowadays. It'd actually be a shock to have a male one at this point.

Man is this film f*cked up
I wasn't sure this would capture the spirit of the original. Then I saw the dude slip on a piece of her hacked-off mouth. Now I can rest easy.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the Greathttp://www.comingsoon.net/news/wonderconnews.php?id=102178

holy shit
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyFuck yeah, holy shit.
The world isn't ready for giant T4 combustion. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GbpGiYmBSs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lKm9I saw the movie. Enjoyed it, but there were some flaws...nothing all that crippling, but the dialogue was weak, and Shiloh Fernandez's performance wasn't too great. I guess he played "horrified" well, and in the second two acts, that's mostly what counted.
Also, the movie is pretty gruesome, but the part that grossed me out had nothing to do with blood or guts(I think it was a homage to a certain other horror film).
It's fun to count the same beats the movie did that the first two also did, after a fashion.
Sounds like it has the same flaws the original movie had that weren't budget related; crap dialogue and hokey performances.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatFede Alvarez also isn't as able as a feature director as Raimi, if we just go by debut work. Scotty springing back to life in the original is scarier than anything that happens in the remake.
Well, the problem is there just isn't another man like Sam Raimi out there; he's a one-of-a-kind type of director.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatProwler: question: there wasn't any kind of tooth-related gore was there?
I have trouble believing that if one could stomach everything else that happens in this movie(blood and piss and vomit flow freely) that they couldn't handle a little dental damage, but no. Not that I recall.
Some folks find particular varieties of gore more disturbing then others.

Who watches the watchmen?I can probably handle someone's guts being shown ripped out better than I could handle eye or finger trauma on screen.
Crazy, huh?
I cringe whenever I see something digging around beneath someone's skin, like that part in Galaxy of Terror when the shard thing goes up the inside of a guy's arm and he chops his arm off to get it off.
Interesting. I know they initially got an NC-17 rating but were aiming at trying to get it to an R rating. Mostly to make sure they got a broader audience.
