Then shouldn't Samus be using the Fusion Suit?
BTW, favorite OMM so far.
Yeah, that battle was confusing as hell. Without any knowledge of Fusion, I had no idea what that creature was, or how Samus was seemingly caught in a reactor explosion and then shows up in her ship perfectly fine.
The team-up at the end was cool, and reminded me of how The two are sometimes shipped together with Mega Man thinking Samus is a robot.

I like this OMM.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Clearly you guys need to play more metroid games :P
I figured out that that was the SA-X when Samus pulled a Big Damn Heroes moment on Mega Man.
Definitely up there with OMM!Deadpool vs. Deathstroke and Bowser vs. Eggman.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!Convection? A master-level technique? Moving or making hot gas is all Firebending is. That's all fire is.
Edit
That was a cool fight. Fights. Two cool fights.

I have a message from another time...Specifically channeling just heat, at a distance, without making an active flame, has only been shown by Roku and Sozin, I belive. Of course firebenders can bend fire.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyThese OM Ms have been getting better and better, what with actually incorporating mini-stories into them. Dio/Sakuya going overtime, Lucario/Renamon being an awesome fight in general, and Hercule/Dan letting the characters be goofy.
This one was amazing, speaking as a fan of both series. The Samus combo with the 3 missiles was absolutely sick, and Megaman's performance certainly measured up, he used so many moves from throughout the series.
Iroh warmed up tea with his fingers once, I think it's safe to say that firebenders have some control over close-range temperature.

For those who don't know what that thing at the end was, I'll explain it. It's from Metroid Fusion. It's called the SA-X. It's a specimen of an alien species called the X parastes, which are amorphous creatures capable of copying and corrupting other life forms. The SA-X is one copying Samus's form, and her suit. That monster at the end is an SA-X that is near death and losing its physical form.
That said, the monster put up a way better fight in that form than it did in Fusion.
I have a message from another time...A) Even non-firebenders don't suffer damage from close contact with flames (Or worse: Lightning). So less your saying the firebenders are bending the heat away from the enemy they are simultaneously trying to burn... No.
B) Even when Roku was passing out, he didn't immediately catch fire from being so close to lava and pyroclasmic flows. Clearly he wasn't bending the heat away from him.
So yeah, Convention doesn't exist in TLA.

So Firebendng doesn't exist, since fire heats by convection.
I have a message from another time........
So Iron Man vs Lex Luthor hasn't already happened has it?
I just want to be sure I didn't miss it.
One Strip! One Strip! The same way Earthbenders can bend crystals but not Metals... who are crystals :-P Don't bring physics in Avatar.
Nope. It'll come Wednesday.

I now go by Graf von Tirol.BTW, can you guys avoid talking spoilers for Lex vs. Iron Man on Wednesday morning? I have my comp class in that time and I do post on TV Tropes when I'm able to there, but I can't really watch a Death Battle (Unless I want to watch it during my break time). So, I'd appreciate that you guys simply not talk about spoilers.

The sad, REAL American dichotomyWhat he said.
How about an Insurance Advertising Character free for all.
So Erin E-surance being essentially insurance flavored Kim Possible; Flo, with all the technology of Progressive futuristic utopia; The Gecko and an army of anecdotal characters that number in the dozens at least (including the Pig and the Cavemen); the State Farm agents with their teleportation and genie-esque reality warping abilities; Mayhem and La Mala Suerte (both of them, because they're both awesome); The Aflac Duck; and J.K. Simmons.
I remember a while back someone made a short but funny fic of the various Insurance characters having some kind of adventure together that had a minor bit of internet fame, but I don't remember where I saw it... either way, it's what gave me the idea.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. That'd be worth it just for hearing Wiz and Boomstick explain how Erin E-surance was retired as a marketing gimmick when the execs realized the disturbing amount of porn she inspired (To the point of topping google searches for the character and company).

I lol'd.
Sounds like Iron Man could potentially absorb Lex's energy, but I think that's Tony's only chance at winning. And not even a safe one, as Luthor could easily identify and counteract that strategy.
Is it mere coincidence that Lex vs. Tony is coming out the same week as Age of Ultron?
Also, I am curious to know who would be good opponents for the main characters of Inu Yasha?
I have a few guesses:
- Inu Yasha vs. Dante (both are half-demons that fight full-demons)
- Miroku vs. Aang (Both are monk-based, fight with staffs and have air/wind-based attacks)
- Sango vs. either Buffy (both slay the supernatural) or Sokka (a joke one, if only because I'd like to see Sokka react to Sango's giant boomerang. I know Sango would curb-stomp Sokka)
I can't think of anyone for Kagome and Shippo.
Oh, I thought of a better opponent for Sesshoumaru: Lobo
EDIT: Two of my CAD friends think that Iron Man will win... I will probably be very pleased if Lex wins because I really do hate Iron Man (when he's not playing off the other Avengers)

Earthbenders bend inorganic materials formed by ionic and covalent bondings that are solid at normal temperature and pressure.
If a chicken crosses the road and nobody else is around to see it, does the road move beneath the chicken instead?
I think those four rockets actually hit Mega Man during the initial grapple beam beatdown.
I also think that was the SA-X from Fusion, not Samus herself. Thus the "Unknown Life Form" reading before the fight.
