I don't know Dragon Ball that well, but didn't Roshi fight elder Piccolo and lose. Is elder Piccolo stronger than all those assholes in Saiyan saga?

His mistake was trying to do the Killsyou Technique, which kills you instead of just powering up and punching him in the breadbasket a lot.

Never try and beat the Big Bad with anything but brute force. You'll fail without a doubt...every damn time.

Developing a new flashy technique? Nope. Powering up and shooting a bigger laser.

The new flashy technique can only save the day arcs and arcs after its introduced.

And that's only because doing it that way keeps someone else who could have more easily saved the day from doing it.

And hell, that's lucky. When Kenshiro brings in a new technique, it usually does something and kills the other guy. In Dragonball, when someone pulls off a new trick, it's often going to fail without ever accomplishing something.

Even Goku has been hit with this. His most successful first use techniques are the Kamehameha, the Kaioken (which didn't win the fight with Vegeta, but at least kept him alive long enough for other things to win the day), and Super Saiyan (and even then, he only barely failed to kill Frieza).

Edit: Right. Getting into bitching about DB (Dragon Ball, not Death Battle) again. Gotta stop that. Need a new Death Battle suggestion...

How about Hugo vs King?

Or a Different King vs Juri Han?

That last one is good, being that they are both kick chicks with kicking based Ki Attacks.

Honestly, Hokuto no Ken is filled to the brim with people who probably aren't ordinary men. Eight-feet-tall mohawk thugs are the norm, even larger ones are present (Devil's Rebirth is like 50 feet tall) and then there's plenty of mutants running around as well.

If those can be blown up, I wager Saiyans could get blown up too. The question is if they would allow a hit in.

Well, if we're talking Early Dragonball Goku, he'd probably allow Kenshiro to hit him to gauge his strength (as that's how he measured his opponent's power before he learned to sense ki. Later Goku might try and trade fists with him in for fun without realizing what Ken can do, but that's still the matter of it Hokuto Shinken would affect someone as ridiculously powerful as Goku.

Vegeta would cockily just let Ken take a shot, convinced no one could hurt him...maybe. Super Vegeta might be smarter than that. In fact, he's pretty no nonsense now that he's not trying to always prove himself, so he might just blast the hell out of Ken before he could even try a pressure point.

I think we can safely say that whether Ken's attacks could phase them is academic, as 9 times out of ten, he's taken out before he can land a hit considering how fast even some of the weaker Z Warriors are.

Ken has been able to block 1000 instant simultaneous attacks at him at once without batting an eye.

He's much faster then you think...

Ok, so what was the exact nature of these instant simultaneous attacks? Projectiles of some sort? Physical strikes? Mosquitos?

I really, really want Kim Kaphwan vs Juri.

The first person to fight Kenshiro would probably get hit from not knowing what he can do. After they die, the rest will probably be smart enough to not let themselves be hit.

Goku prefers martial combat and likes to savor his fights even against significantly weaker opponents, so he almost certainly would let the Hokuto no Ken land to gauge it's strength. Kenshiro wins because Goku would rather have a fun fight than necessarily win the fight.

Vegeta's style is more about showing off with ki-driven all-out offense and pointless overkill, so he'd probably obliterate Kenshiro long before the guy ever got into range to land the hit in the first place.

Gohan hates fighting and prefers to end things as quickly as possible, so I can't see Kenshiro ever even getting the chance to land a hit on him either. Gohan doesn't showboat or overkill like Vegeta, but he also doesn't f*ck around. The one time he did, his father died.

Reasoning: Leon was basically just better at everything then Frank. He was faster, Stronger (even with Frank having the exosuit), much more experienced, and was just as creative a fighter as Frank.

Next time: This is one of those fights that was always gonna happen. It was just a manner of when. Not sure who I'm rooting for. It's a really tough match to call.

Slightly expanding on that... ...No seriously, I mean pretty much everything. They give Frank stuff from the non-canon Off the Record, pretty much every combo weapon and vehicle, like the exo-suit, even the Capcom heroes outfits. The only thing they don't give Frank is his zombie powers which he got rid of and can't really get back. Though Frank's combo weapons are creatively fun, Leon's are generally deadlier. Cause you know, they're guns and an absurd amount of skill with a knife. Frank could shove cars in an exo-suit, but Leon pushed a massive, estimated to be around 9-tons of boulder. Though it was with help, even half of that is more than Frank's best strength. Leon's laser and bullet dodging is better than Frank's speed feats. And Leon's seen enough weird stuff in his career that he could keep up with Frank's unpredictable fighting and weapons. He's survived B.O.W.s that could kill him in one hit, and has shown enough quick thinking and creativity himself in a fight, like when he was fighting the mutated Glenn. Even when giving Frank all his insane stuff, Leon is just stronger, faster, and more experienced.

For next time...Yeah, I can't really say I care all that much about this one. I know that a lot of people wanted to see it, it's just not something I personally wanted to.

Strange is going to tear Fate a new asshole.

Man I'm so glad this is coming out after we knew a bit about Blazblue Cross Tag Battle...

If the music for next time is just "Strange Fate" or "Fate is Strange" I'm gonna be so disappointed. Cause this one's "Resident Rising" is pretty lazy.

Stronger than people like Superman and Wonder Woman? Is their magic that OP?

I can't speak for Fate, but Strange fights being who warp reality on a regular basis.
