• Race: Owl Siren. A rare owl variation that has gained humanlike learning capacity and a human form due to innate magical abilities.
• Gear: As she has trouble carrying things in owl form, usually none.
• Abilities: Aerokinesis. Can change the direction and intensity of the winds. Is able to affect pressure and form clouds but that will take at least five minutes, possibly more depending on the area she's trying to affect. Can be either an owl or a siren, defaults to owl.
• Physical Abilities: Silent flight and nightvision, extremely good hearing. Her talons are as effective as small knives.
• Quick Traits: Though she can potentially be as smart as a regular human right now she is about as well educated as you'd expect a wild animal to be.

• Quick traits: Always down to make a quick buck, he may or may not tend to forget some property laws when visiting a planet he won't stay long in. They're not going to miss these, though, right?

Race: Cat-Morph Human

Languages: Her native language which is very difficult to spell or pronounce. English, but a somewhat stilted grasp on it.
Pets: A liter of stupidly adorable kittens with latent magical power, strong enough to actually cause damage to the ship in their cat-like mischief if nobody's keeping an eye on them.
Gear: An array of magical tools suited for the appraisal and repair of magical artifacts, including protecting one's self from the inevitable backlash of messing with things above a certain power scale.
Powers: At a glance she can divine whether an object has any latent magical power or not, and it's rough scale. She also has her own latent magical power, which is only potent enough for petty magical tricks and prestidigitation.
Skills: A trained magical artificer and exceptionally good at her job despite her youth, she was hired out by the company due to a combination of glowing reviews and relatively low wages.
Physical Abilities: While her race is superhuman in physical prowess, Tammi herself is very sedentary due to her job and has thus atrophied to the level of a physically fit human. Putting on a bit of chub, too. Her senses however, are top notch, and when she's paying attention things usually do not escape her notice.
Quick Traits: No-nonsense on the job but quite jovial outside of it. Her race becomes parents young and she's already begun picking up motherly traits, having seemingly arbitrary concern for other members of the crew. Very curious about things she doesn't know and has developed a very slight tech fetish.

Okay, looking over Kirb's character sheet, I have a few questions, because for someone(s) with such a wide range of abilities and gear, it feels half-explained to me.

• What exactly is Ayla and Maxwell's symbiotic relationship? One place you say she's a zombie and "She and Maxwell heavily depend on each other to survive.", but then later on you say "If they're separated, her superhuman capabilities are limited by a one hour time limit. Once that's over, she's back to being a normal human." Does that mean she can live just fine without Maxwell and that he's in a parasitic symbiotic relationship who's living off a normal human? Or did you just mean that's when her supercharge ability wears off?
  • And for that matter, you say that Maxwell doesn't have any sort of digestive system. Okay, that's fine. But then how does he sustain himself? Human blood? Cause so far, it looks like that's just how he keeps himself active, not sustains his existence. Or is he like immortal or something, and he needs the blood just to keep from turning into a useless lump of red goo?
    • And do Maxwell or Ayla have any weaknesses besides a dependence on each other's presence for survival? Because considering they both receive a massive boost from being combined, I don't see why the two would ever have reason to separate or be forced to do that, or if a forced separation of the two is even possible.
• Can Maxwell use any of his shapeshifting abilities when attached to Ayla or only when he's separated?
  • This biological weapons thing that's part of his shapeshifting, is it like Parasyte with the life form morphing itself into the various weapons? Does it slough off a chunk of itself to be used as a weapon at any time like Arm-Fall-Off-Boy? Or does it just pop up out of thin air like Archer?
    • And does this have any downside to Maxwell and/or Ayla besides lasting a whole twenty four hours (which is actually a pretty long time by any reckoning)?
• How protective is this battle armor exactly?
  • Does it interfere with Maxwell's shapeshifting and/or bond, or is everything hunky dory?
• Considering they're bonded on what I'm assuming is a mutual symbiotic relationship, would that mean Ayla has access to Maxwell's skills and vice versa?
  • Same with languages. Can they effectively both speak the same languages if they're combined?

That's all I have to ask, because I don't really see anything that'd be a major problem, just a massive amount of features that would benefit from clarification. I wouldn't usually be asking most of these questions if it weren't two characters being treated as one I had to evaluate instead of plain old one.

Just checking an idea that came to me yesterday.

• Name: TBD
• Sex: Male
• Race: Human
• Gear: Jeans, hoodie and sneakers, and a shoulder bag with some various travelling gear (pocket knife, rope, binoculars and a packet of suicide pills)
• Powers: Respawning (upon death, will respawn in the bed/sleeproll/culturally dependant sleeping place where he last slept (just on the ground doesn't count), with the gear he was wearing/had equipped upon death and whatever objects he can fit in his average shoulder bag)
  • He was given three wishes by a genie. Wanting to get an exciting, risk-free life, he wished for 1) the ability to respawn upon death, 2) to never lose what he's carrying (does not grant immunity to people taking it off of him, however) and 3) to go on an adventure.
• Physical Abilities: Average fit human being. No combat skills to speak off, average skill with computers. Can play the guitar. Over time developed a decent resistance to pain.
• Quick Traits: Brave, open-minded and sociable. Though, easily gets impatient and reckless.

I... kind of have an issue with the "litter of cats that, if someone is not keeping an eye on them AT ALL TIMES can damage the ship" sorta thing, Kat. Everything else checks out okay, but unless everyone agrees it could be a potential source of Fun, I doubt anyone here would want to assign their characters to keep an eye on magic cats constantly so they don't accidentally TK the reactor out of alignment and shut off the entire ship.

Lem: No personal issue, but Etheru is already playing a "respawns on death" character, just so you know. Not that this should bar you from playing ???, just saying that sorta thing's been done already.

My character would be the one handling that. The only time they get off the retainer is if there's ever a plot reason to have them to, pretty much.

Alrighty. Only reason I'm trusting you with this is because despite the fact you're total shit (as per yourself), you're good enough that I'm willing to let you fly with risky concepts.

Oh right, let me explain....

• I only said she's a zombie she because she's revived through scientific means. As for their relationship, Maxwell's in a parasitic symbiotic relationship but he's Ayla's only friend in her life since her revival and yes, her superhuman abilities wears off.
  • Technically, he can't age. And yeah, he depends on blood to be active but without it, he reverts into a pile of red goo which is when he can be killed off for good, which can be done with fire.
    • As for weaknesses, Maxwell's shapeshifting is limited when bonded with Ayla. Also, being a combined entity, they can't swim in water because their combined mass makes them heavy as an anchor and separation is required so they don't sink or if being a heavyweight has its downsides. Also, the separation is Maxwell's idea and it's originally for tactical purposes such as flanking from the side. Also, they're vulnerable to fire and no protection against magic at all.
• Yes he can use his shapeshifting powers with Ayla but is limited. It's only when he's separated he can put it to full use.
  • As for biological melee weapons, the first two are true. He can't just pop them out of thin air. Also, he can't make complicated weapons such as firearms or bombs. Thus this is why Ayla and Maxwell use firearms.
    • Well I did mention that it drains much from his blood.
• The armor can withstand normal attacks and filters out toxic gas but does jack against strong blows, magic, or energy attacks.
  • No but he has to stay in Ayla's body if the armor's fully sealed-in from toxic air and liquids. Also, the armor has specialized vents on the back which allows Maxwell to do his thing.
• Yes but it's limited as in, she can't just shapeshift into non-humanoid forms such as fish.
  • Yes but she may flub at some words. She would be more fluent if she bothers to study them fully.
