ASSASSIN’S CREED ROGUE – ARCTIC NAVAL GAMEPLAY
New Ubiblog.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.Regarding the movie information, I'd be happy if all that was true. I always said they shouldn't adapt the games, but do their own things connected to the game's storyline. The Spanish Inquisition (Which nobody expected) sounds interesting, though I'm worried how they'll portray the Inquisition considering the whole History Marches On thing about it (i.e it not being nearly as efficient or as murderous as it was previously thought).
"All you Fascists bound to lose."Yes. Because historical accuracy is exactly the thing that Assassin's Creed is famous for. Not portraying history more or less how they want and explaining away inconsistencies as being lies fed to you by Templars.
Seriously, why do people always bet worked up about that?
They're fairly good at historical accuracy in a general sense. They change a lot of shit for artistic license, but they do have a shitload of Shown Their Work (Black Flag borders on a documentary about the pirate republic at times).
"All you Fascists bound to lose."I suppose it doesn't really matter. As long as the characters of the time feel that they are a threat, they are a threat. Sure, we know now that they may not have been, but ask the people back then and you might get a different story through a different lens.
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing.I like how they refer to Altair's method of shanking people in broad daylight as "the Levantine approach."

Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.IGN just reported that AC: Unity is going to have micro-transactions. Jesus, I really have nothing to say about this. Next thing we know, AAA games will be pay-to-win as a standard.
In that case, thanks but no thanks. Now I know for sure that I'm going to get Rogue instead.

Together, we are one.All the other AC games did that... This isn't something new or profound.
Also, for the record, DLC is considered 'mircotransactions', not just Multiplayer stuff.
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing. Why? Black Flag had them and you never had to use them.
Maybe sanfranman (nice name BTW) really doesn't like them.
I wonder if Rogue is supposed to be Comet?
Yes. It is. It's almost exactly the rumoured plot of Comet, down to the guy's name.

But, sadly, it has nothing to do with the electronic shop chain or the spacial object of the same name.
Ah, and it's only on Xbox 360 and PS 3, I see. To be honest it didn't really interest me anyway, Unity seems a lot better. Still stinks that I won't be able to play it though (my 360 crapped out a few months ago)
Get To Know Elise From Assassin’s Creed Unity
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite. They talk about how they want to make this love story between Arno and Elise more serious and more mature, and acknowledge how hard it is to make a good love story. Based on the devs' track record, you think they could pull it off?
In all fairness, I haven't seen them tackle many love stories beyond vague side-plots. (I never played the AC handhelds) I actually did like how Ziio and Haytham's relationship briefly developed. A pity the graphics gave everyone glittery demon eyes. I seem to recall liking the flashbacks of how Ezio and his girlfriend's romance turned out, but his Revelations romance with Sophie was pretty dull apart from her being psyched about exploring ancient Assassin ruins. I liked the close-but-not-romantic relationship between Edward and Anne Bonny.
Lol, everyone was an idiot in Forsaken. Then again, Haytham didn't need too much shrewd cunning to square off against a baddie who dressed up his henchmen in goblin masks. I guess Birch sometimes floated the alias "King Jareth."
They had the balls to kill off the first major love interest after all the development her relationship had in the first game. So they don't seem obligated to always follow through with the standard romance cliches. I consider that a sign that the AC devs can be more mature about romance plots than most other video-games.

What are the chances Rogue will make it to PC?
noisivelet naht nuf erom era srorrimProbably sometime next year?
I don't see any reason to NOT release it on PC. I'd imagine consoles just have the exclusivity deal for x amount of time and I'd imagine Rogue may not be releasing on PC at the same time (not just because releasing both console-locked games on one system would incite rage), but also because then Ubisoft would be in direct competition with themselves.
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing.Looking at Rogue gameplay videos, it really seems like Ass Creed 4.5. Not a bad thing since sailing is awesome.
As long as the plot is better than Black Flag; Like I said before, I found it to be a good game (if a bit in need of a graphics and gameplay lift), but not a good AC game.
However, since the plot is explicitly that you are an Assassin Hunter, as long as they keep the premise going, I think it'll solve the issues I had with IV.
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing.Yeah, as long as Rogue makes the most of being a Templar, it'll be great.
If I'm playing a Templar, I want some swanky gear. Templars always seem to be dripping money. I better not be having to mug polar bears for pocket change.
