Ahh, Chizuru is adorable. I just wish she didn't seem to have a little siscon fetish, because I'm totally shipping Akarin and Chitose in my head.

This episode was just plain weird...and hilarious...Chizuru is even more messed up than Chitose!

P.s. there is no closet in this series, I think the cast all either have openly lesbian tendancies or are neutral.

Hehe, I love how Akari was completely off the shipping radar and then right after Chinatsu kissed her she started to have chemistry with Chitose and Sakurako. I don't think she's even Out of Focus anymore. Really, I think the whole Out of Focus thing was pretty thin. Akari actually has plenty of presence.

I always noticed when Akari wasn't there. During the beach episode, I noticed that two things happened at the same time: (1) someone (*cough*) stopped giving Chitose tissues and (2) Akarin disappeared. I spent half that time wondering where she went (which, thankfully, got answered - I would've pouted if they really had just forgotten to draw her in).

Of course, this might just be my attraction to pink-haired characters. Pink is such a pretty color. But then, I like Akari a lot more than I like Chinatsu, so maybe not!

The person who was giving Chitose tissues during the beach episode was the Student Council President, not Akari. There were 9 girls at the beach that day, not 8.

I don't believe the identity of the student council president, or her presence, has been revealed yet. If that is true, you should have waited for the anime to tell me, thanks.

She was in the episode, sure, they didn't explicitly mention her, but her presence was definitely felt. Go back and watch it again. I'm not going to appologize for telling you what happened in a previous episode just because you missed it.

I think I have a thing for Akari's Idiot Hair too. (danbooru, so possibly nsfw ads).

Anyway random thought I see Akari actually snapping then trying a Hostile Show Takeover on the final ep or maybe the final final 10 minutes of the final ep.

&I don't understand your logic for Madoka Magica, if you say it was the same as it was here, so could you please elaborate? Also, if you really hate seeing Akari getting trolled like that, how is it that you even made it this far? She has been trolled every episode.

• Episode 1: Kyoko points out Akari's blandness and they spend half of the episode trying to make her more remarkable (and fail).
• Episode 2: They continue off of the first episode and Akari's part of the story gets brushed aside right off the bat.
• Episode 3:
• Episode 4: Akari's Tanabata wish gets blown away.
• Episode 5: Aside from the forced kiss, I don't remember anything bad happening to Akari this episode.
• Episode 6: Refer to post 84. She also fainted before saying a single word.
• Episode 7: Akari trips and falls head first into the cameraman.
• Episode 8: They stated that the only screen time she and Chinatsu gets in this episode is during the episode intro.

6 was the bad artist ep right? Akari fainted before saying a single word in the episode which Kyoko pointed out.

back to the beach half of ep 4. when Akari trips running towards the water, we get an over head view of the other girls and there are 8 of them. is the extra girl the student council president? Then she disappears during the rest of the episode but there are 9 watermelon pieces

She's there, just off camera, the entire episode. She's the one handing Chitose tissues.

And yes, she's the Student Council President. She first appears at the beginning of the episode, right behind the camera in the Student Council room (in the shot, the camera appears to be mounted on her desk)

Is it just me or was the opening animation mirrored?

Where were you watching from?

Horriblesubs. All the opening credits were as it should be but I could have sworn the animation underneath was flipped around.
