It has been a year since the traitorous creature known as Omega was exiled to a place of void an nothingness. It has been a year since an unlikely group of beings fought their way free from the clutches of their captors, the enigmatic Nomads, who had forced them to take part in a bizarre series of competitions for their own amusement. And it seemed that, for a time, the Nomad's machinations had ended, and the people of the myriad realities were free to live their lives free of divine interference.
They were wrong.
Now, a year after the final Challenge, strange new forces are beginning to conspire. Old and new beings alike will find themselves caught up in a brand new quest for survival and freedom among unlikely backdrops, a quest that will bring them to the edge of... infinity.
Hello, and welcome to the signup thread for A Game Of Gods: Infinities. First of all, thanks for taking an interest in the thread, and I hope you'll sign up for this game. As the old Forum RP hands are familiar with, all the standard rules apply- autohitting, godmodding, ghosting, metagaming, etc. are unacceptable like in any other game.

Challenges
The basic premise of the game is quite similar to last season, with a group of heroes and/or villains taking on challenges, often pitting them against heroes or villains from another universe. To begin with, we will be working through a glut of challenges leftover from the previous round, but after that people will be able to suggest and implement their own challenges.
This season, Two challenges will usually run at once. A secondary challenge will takeplace alongside the primary challenge, giving new layers something to do or an alternative to the primary challenge. This may affect what happens to your character in the long run, so choose wisely!
If you have an idea for a challenge, feel free to consult any of the GMs: Stratofarious, Troydenite and Flanker66. Remember, if nothing else, please try to keep challenges brief and manageable! 2 weeks is the maximum time a challenge should take, and please be sure that you or someone else will be able to see it through to completion.

Aww. I had the previous list organized in order of signup acceptance. 
- Name: Mutran
- Appearance: Comic version

- Universe: Bionicle 'verse, after setting up in Karda Nui but prior to the Toa Nuva's arrival.
- Personality: Eccentric, sadistic and almost insane, Mutran fits the Mad Scientist bill rather well. He's brilliant, but somewhat unstable. Proud of his creations and dismissive of those of others, he had a rivalry going on with fellow Makuta Chirox. He also possessed a great deal of knowledge on the inner workings of the Bionicle'verse.
- Abilities/Powers: Mutran has access to the 42 Kraata powers, in addition to Makuta ones and his mask, so nerfing ahoy:
- Shadow Hand: Mutran is able to shoot out a giant smoky hand of shadow that can grab foes and absorb them into himself.
- Heat vision: Mutran can emit beams of extreme heat from his eyes, the exact temperature being under his control.
- Mask of Silence: Mutran wears the mask of silence, which allows him to make someone unable to either hear or emit sound as long as he concentrates on it.
- Physical: He's a robot of the same type as Icarax and Teridax. Same rules apply. Very strong, very tough and unlimited endurance. He wields his Shadow Spear, a shadow sword, in addition to his claws and fangs and wings. Of course, like Teridax and Icarax, he's in a great deal of trouble if his armour breaks.

Another Makuta oh c'mon I mean the 42 Kraata powers will have to go. Also, what exactly does it mean to absorb someone, and how does it work on organic matter?
I didn't write up 42. I wrote up 1, heat vision.
Absorbing someone, well in all instances it's happened the shadowy hand shoots out, engulfs the victim, and is absorbed into the Makuta. This process gives the makuta additional energy.
What follows is a process where the Makuta must quickly dominate the mind of that which was absorbed, or risk its own mind. Usually this isn't a problem, but Teridax, Bio's makuta lost a fight partly due to having to split his attention between dominating the minds of three others and fighting simultaneously.
After sucessful domination there usually aren't any issues though.

Well, restricting it to mooks and the like is one option.
Alternatively, put a cooldown timer on it.
A third option is the following: Remove the absorbtion in favour of increased control of the hand in general. For all Makuta the shadow hand usually has an automatic "snap-back" effect. Remove that along with the absorbtion and Mutran instead gets a giant powerful hand he can manipulate like a real hand.
Personally I'd rather retain the absorbtion, but I'll wait for your reply.

The giant powerful hand option sounds much better. Perhaps with passive absorption of stamina and energy as opposed to actual consciousness.

- Appearance: The Organization coat makes you look badass. No exceptions.
- Universe: Kingdom Hearts (358/2 Days)
- Personality: Shy, quiet and occasionally clueless. She can also be a little angsty. She can even be childlike at times, loving anything cute and fluffy. She is not at all prone to anger, but if you do piss her off...
- Abilities/Powers: In addition to her Keyblade, which can unlock anything (though results on more technological 'locks'—passwords, etc—can be mixed), she controls light. Basically, she's a human candle, lighting up rooms and such by glowing. She also has spells that can shoot fireballs, cast lightning, freeze things and heal any non-crippling injury.

- Name: Azaka Kokutou
- Appearance:Boop.
- Universe: Karano Kyoukai
- Personality:Azaka is a lot of things. She's brave, kind, and a near perfect student. But at the same time she can turn around and become a manipulative, jealous-hearted woman who's quick to anger when she doesn't get her way. She's the kind of girl who'd help you move and then kick you in the nards directly afterwards because of something you said.
- Abilities/Powers:
- Psychic Abilities: She is a psychic, which means she has a very specific ability that has resulted from a mutation in her brain, which allows her to "perceive" channels that normal humans can't. In Azaka's case, this allows her to control combustion in manner similar to pyrokinesis.
- Physical Abilities: She's also very strong for a girl her age, being able to over simply power a much more skilled fighter, and said to b able to do the same to a grown man. She also seems to know some form of martial arts. Her axe kick is said to be able to kill a person.
