I sort of agree with him/her, actually - this seems to be pushing our mission a little. I know there's No Such Thing As Notability, but a chatroom isn't really a work.
Also, this seems to be mostly troping real life. I say cut.
Yes. With all due respect to the users of this chatroom, it's real life, not a work of fiction. The page is pushing things too far.
"Well, it's a lifestyle"Agreed with the suggestion for cutting. If this was even for an RP community I might say differently, but there is no indication that it is more than a chat room.
Visit my contributor page to assist with the "I Like The Cheeses" project!Support cutting this.
The page is listed as a Just for Fun, which I think means that the IRC goers found it fun to try and trope Real Life. And, in all honesty, it is.
Still though, I support cutting. Just for Fun doesn't mean anything goes and this doesn't really fall under the wiki's scope ([Tropes in fiction -> Work containing tropes -> Wiki about work -> IRC about wiki] seems a bit too disconnected to me). I think it might be worth asking if the Phineas And Ferb Wiki want it though, simply so that the edits aren't completely wasted and in case they still want to have some fun tropin' with it.
EDIT: I've told the IRC channel about it.

It seems almost everyone agrees that this page should be cut. They're not even troping the IRC so much as the exclusive group of friends that meets in the IRC.
signature lineCut it. Theres No Such Thing As Notability, but this is ridiculous.
I say keep until one of them shows up and responds.
That's just simple internet courtesy.
Robbie up there is a member of the IRC, though we have no idea what he said.
signature lineI believe it was "No. You should be banned from the internet." If he/she wants to provide a better-reasoned response, then we're all ears.
When on the IRC, I believe the main reason was that "it had tropes too", paraphrased. IIRC, Taco Wiz has a bit of a history with the channel and is banned from it. That might explain some of the hostality of the post in reply.
Still, there is a valid concern made by Taco Wiz. I'm going to go contact the channel again.
My point still stands, even if my point is only being made for purposes of vendetta.
signature lineI've actually been on the IRC... there are a lot of people on at certain times, especially the night. Sometimes up to 20 people.
I can't really come up with a huge reason for why it should stay, but it is mainly for fun, and this page has been here for quite awhile, i don't see why it should go now. And most of it's users edit the page, and i have told them myself, in all honesty, and they seem to want to keep it.

Cut it. It's just ego stroking and troping real life.
If it really needs deletion, I prefer it be through a thread started by someone who didn't just have a very petty grudge. I wasn't listening at the time, so I'm not sure of all the details are, but what I have gathered is that you were banned from the room. Alright then. But this will not solve the problem, and even if you get this page deleted (which I would prefer it not be), you will still not be permitted back into the chat. As for the main matter... No, this is not the most useful page. I grant you that. But, for one, it IS advertisement for the chat room and could hopefully entice more fans of the show to enter into the chat—this has happened at least once. Also, even though it doesn't have high purpose, it still has applying tropes, so surely we could find a spot for it somewhere...?
It also appears, if this thread is anything to go by, to be importing drama. My opinion's even stronger now - kill it dead.
Frankly, I think this is a case of Don't Shoot the Message - Taco Wiz may have ulterior motives, but it's still not a page that belongs on this site.

And my opinion is even stronger too. Keep it.
I do perfectly understand the reasoning for deletion. I cannot stop it and, sadly, cannot make argument for reasons why we should keep it, even as a user. But I would at least like it if someone outside of the IRC had decided to start this thread.
You could always put it in the Project: namespace on the Phineas and Ferb wiki as a sort of "Just for Fun" page on that.
Heck, you could even do it in the style of TV Tropes if you know how. E.g. Uncyclopedia's article on TV Tropes, which mimicks the style.

Oh, we can do that? That's pretty awesome. But i'd like some word on the other users first
That actually sounds like a good alternative.
Do we need a tropes page for a REALLY, REALLY, REALLY small chat room with never more than ten people in it at once?
