I normally don't like "Who Would Win" threads, but I really am wondering what fictional characters/empires/races could possibly stand a chance of survival in the Crapsack World of the 41st millennium.

The fact that Games Workshop takes everything Beyond the Impossible makes it seem unlikely that anyone could stand a chance.

Maybe Godzilla or Superman...

Mister Rogers.

He'd get Abbadon, Gazghkull, Marneus Calgar, Aun'va, and Creed to sit down and talk out their differences, and before you know it they'd be hugging one another and crying.

The Gurren Brigade. They'd probably drill right through the Eye of Terror, skewer Slaanesh, and come out the other side to punch Rawbutt Girlyman out of his coma.

[up][up]Isn't that series the Trope Namer for Beyond the Impossible?

I suppose they'd stand a good fighting chance.

I know it depends on the writer, but what I'm really curious about is whether or not Godzilla could survive an exterminatus.

Cthulhu, as long as he sold out to Tzeentch.

Also, I reckon most Exalts could survive as long as they avoided flaring their animas and using Obvious charms until they were a few centuries old. A Dawn Caste is awesome and all, but they probably can't stand up to that many Grey Knights.

(They could, of course, use Heavenly Guardian Defence to survive Exterminatus.)

Nono. Being able to slice open Titan and toss around micro-black holes sounds about right. Throw in the Imperial Buster Machine Corp and that should be enough to deal with just about any threat.

Of course the fact that she's a Ridiculously Human Robot may get her into some trouble with the Cogboys.

Spartan 117, Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy. Thel Vadam too.

Also, probably some Scions.

Oh, and Urdnot Wrex, out of sheer badassery.

Honestly, if the Doctor got involved, I'd be more worried about everyone else than him.

Well, since by the 41st century spacetime will have collapsed into a singularity, it's unlikely anyone could survive in it.

That's impressively quick given that the sun is predicted to last until roughly the fifty millionth.

Those estimates don't account for Scourge. Besides, who ever said anything about the sun? The sun will be fine, it'll just be right next to Rigel all of a sudden.

Deadpool's probably kicking around somewhere.

Do not be so quick to make foolish offers, Daemon. Araghast too once thought I would be an asset to his cause. Look what has become of him.

The Doctor was involved. He was busy fighting the Last Great Time War. How else do you think humanity became so warlike?

An epic-level wizard could definitely pull it off, provided creating one's own private demiplane to sleep in isn't considered cheating.

Garlic Junior, by merit of not being able to die. This is assuming that an equivalent of the Makyo star exists in 40K and nobody ever figures out the correlation and blows it up. How would anyone ever figure that out, though?

I think quite a few characters could survive the 41st millennium just fine, provided they end up in the right place. For instance, James Bond could have a long and rollicking career in Imperial Intelligence, but I wouldn't think much of his odds if the planet he's on turns out to be a Tomb World and there's no quick way off.

Commander Shepard. Duh.

Oh, and also cowardly officers who retreat their way into hero-dom!
