Thanks! They seem a little touchy, though, and I'm not entirely certain they're being recorded.

For what it's worth, I prefer Powerup Mount.

When your vote is recorded, you get a little snowman-y looking icon beside the arrows.

You can also change your vote at any time (click the vote button on the entry again and it will give you the choice to change), and vote on all the entries at once (so voting up the one entry you do like and voting down all the others is completely fine)

We currently have an unanimous +19 for Power-Up Mount. Everything else is very negative.

Why does anyone like Mount Powerup? There is too much potential for confusion considering Mount could be confused as meaning "Mountain" like Mount Olympus. Power-Up Mount is the much clearer name since Mount never appears after the name of a mountain.

Well, considering that it holds a huge lead over the others at a unanimous +24 votes, I think it's fair to say that we can wrap things up and call it a day.

See, this is the problem with tropes of the form "the [x]" where x refers to a specific character who has SEVERAL tropes associated with them. If I had to guess from the title alone what this trope was about, I'd have guessed "Badass Adorable varieties of Non-Human Sidekick."

Alrighty, with Old Man Ho Oh's help, we've whittled the wicks for The Yoshi down to just its mention on Renamed Tropes. I think we can now give this thread a lock.

By the way, I sure do love it when a plan comes together. If only renames like this were this easy more often...
