The problem is that the curse is on a concept, not a person. Before you can purify the curse, you first need to know where to stand when you're doing it.
Yes, it's very unfortunate they don't wait to find that out first…
“I feel like I'm cosplaying as a chiffon cake,” she said. “I can't believe this has been protecting the world from the forces of evil for over five years.”
“Yeah, she gets that a lot when people actually meet her,” Yuuno said. “Remember, you have to say the attack name out loud.”
“Yeah, yeah, I know the drill, I watch TV too,” Alisa said.
“I think you underestimate how silly the attack name sounds,” Yuuno said.
“Meh, I grew up watching Nanoha's 70's toku videos with her, how bad can it be?” Alisa said, concentrating as she tried to bring up Eternal Sailor Moon's purification powers.
There was a pause.
“Alisa-chan? Are you all right?” Suzuka asked, concerned. “Your face is going red… ”
“She actually says that?” Alisa suddenly exploded, unable to contain her embarrassment. “Out loud? In public? As a magical attack?”
“At least once a week for four years,” Yuuno confirmed.
“Eternal Sailor Moon-sama is either the bravest woman I know or the most shameless,” Alisa said, sounding awed. “Come on, let's see if these powers can do anything to help get rid of the curse on Nanoha.”

They burst into the room, making Nanoha look up, blinking in surprise and some affirmation. “What is it? Something bad finally happened, didn't it? Criminals? Meta-humans? Invaders? Locked room murder?”
“Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss!” Alisa cried, pointing the wand in her wand at Nanoha. “Man, this is embarrassing!”
There was a burst of light.
“Gah!” Nanoha cried. “My eyes! I can't see! I've gone blind! Alisa-chan, why did you do that? Why, oh why did you do that?-! You flashed me in the face!”
Alisa blinked. “I thought that move healed people! It wasn't supposed to hurt her!”
“Eternal Sailor Moon also uses it to vaporize monsters,” Yuuno said. “So I guess we're pretty lucky Nanoha's still in one piece. Besides, what did you think would happen if you suddenly shined a super bright light in her eyes?”
“Damn it, why doesn't reality take a hint and not ensue when we use magic, the way it usually does?” Alisa swore as Suzuka and Fate went to Nanoha's side to keep her from hurting herself on all the weapons she had surrounding her.
“It's the curse! The vacation curse!” Nanoha said in reply. “Alisa's been possessed!”
“Nanoha, Alisa's not possessed,” Yuuno said reassuringly. “So stop trying to get your ring to contain her.”
“Then why did she attack me?” Nanoha demanded as she felt around with her left hand. “Gah, I've gone blind!”
Yuuno plucked Raging Heart out of her reach. “Alisa finally believed you about the curse, so she borrowed Eternal Sailor Moon's powers to try and purify the curse from you?”
There was a pause.
“IT DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY!” Nanoha cried. “VACATIONS are what's cursed, not me! I'm fine! Alisa-chan, Eternal Sailor Moon-sama used to try to go on vacations too. Don't you think she hasn't tried this? Gah, my eyes. I can't see…! ”
Yuuno blinked, then knelt in front of Nanoha, raising one finger. “Nanoha, can you track my finger?”
“I've been telling you, everything's gone black! I'm blind!”
There was another pause.
Everyone but Nanoha turned towards an appalled-looking Alisa.
“Well crap,” she said succinctly.

After having another rinse, she moved over to soak in a secluded area and found it not so secluded. A slim girl with rich honey hair was already there, sitting awkwardly. The water around her seemed to be churning strangely. Ugh, was she using some kind of vibrator? In a public place like this?
These completely non-ironic thoughts flitted through Miyuki's mind, and she was about to turn away when something about the girl seemed to catch her eye. At a longer look, the girl looked slightly familiar. Actually, she kinda looked like…
The girl jumped in surprise as Miyuki slid into the water next to her. “H-hey! Wha– ”
Miyuki leaned in so she was face to face with the girl. “Hey,” she said softly. “Are you Kousaka Kirino? ”
The girl looked on the verge of panicking when Miyuki suddenly grinned and gave her a thumbs up. “Onii-chan are awesome aren't they?” she said in solidarity.
The girl blinked, before sighing in relief. “You… you… ”
They exchanged conspiratorial grins, as between people who find they're not alone in the world.
“So you can probably let your brother up for air and we can work out how to get him out of here?” Miyuki suggested, pointing down at the churning water.

“Curse…” Nanoha muttered sulkily.
“Sleep,” he ordered. “I've set your ring to repair the retinal damage, but only if you're unconscious and in REM. Look at it this way. The less time you're conscious, the less you have to put up with being cursed.”
Nanoha sighed. “Fine,” she said, pulling the blanket up to her chin. “Good night then. At least I'll have an alibi for when the locked room murder happens.”
“Don't say things like that, someone will actually get murdered, and it'll be on your conscience,” Yuuno chided.
He and the rest of the girls left the room as quietly as they could, turning off the lights as they did. Alisa, as had been assigned, sat outside the door, a robe over her Eternal Sailor Moon outfit, to make sure Nanoha actually went to sleep and didn't do… Nanoha-esque things. Alisa had agreed readily, feeling guilty at the damage she'd inadvertently done to her friend. She even set her phone to silent so that Nanoha wouldn't be disturbed by any chance calls. The rest, deciding they'd had enough excitement and weirdness for the night, decided to go down to the recreation area of the resort and raid the vending machines. They'd just sat down with drinks and snacks when a scream reverberated through the resort.
“OH MY GOD! SOMEONE'S BEEN MURDERED.”
As one, Yuuno, Fate, Arf and Suzuka facepalmed.
The resort had the local police station's homicide department on speed dial. From what Yuuno could hear, the emergency call consisted of an exasperated resort employee saying “It happened again” and hanging up. The resort people had been very methodical in sealing off all exits and getting all their guests in one place. One had walked by with a roll of yellow crime scene tape, muttering about still paying off college credits in criminology.
Nanoha's futon had been dragged into the large dining room where the guests were being held, where she was still peacefully sleeping, along with a few other young guests. Apparently, her body really wanted real sleep. No one was waking her up, either because she didn't seem a viable suspect or no one wanted to traumatize her. Lucky stiff.
“What are they saying now?” Alisa hissed. She'd finally given Eternal Sailor Moon's powers back after that frantic message had been relayed to her.
Yuuno, who was sitting casually with his book, cocked his head as his ring scanned all the conversations the resort employees were having. “They're having someone go through the guest book to figure out who's the detective vacationing in the resort so they can have them solve this mystery. They keep saying the word 'curse' a lot.”
“How many people know about this 'curse' thing, anyway?” Arf demanded.
“Besides Superman, the Senshi and the hot springs and ski resort industry? How should I know?” Yuuno said.
There were a lot of people being held in the dining room, and many were looking annoyed. There was a young couple, a middle aged couple, an old couple, a fat couple, a rich couple, an old American with a thick beard, a bunch of intimidating guys that Yuuno would have pegged as Yakuza if he'd watched enough TV shows (he hadn't), several futons with sleeping children in them (moved into the dining room by well-practiced resort staff), and an old shinto priest the staff had called in testing a bowstring and wrapping ofuda around some arrows.
“Huh,” Yuuno muttered. “I should really talk to Superman when this is all over, compare notes. They never showed the old priest guy when this sort of thing happens on TV.”

Seriously, that kid has the curse bad. He can end up in a murder mystery just by going out for sushi at a restaurant he's never been to before.
Maybe restaurants, hotels and other tourist attractions in Japan should have special events in which the only people welcome are detectives, superheroes and their immediate associates so that anyone trying to cause trouble can be immediately stomped so that they can go back to actually vacationing. The problem is how to set it up without endangering secret identities.
To be fair, he's not as bad as Kindaichi. With Kindaichi, you'll have, like, 99% murder mysteries with tragic backstories in which you can't really hate the killer, while with Edogawa, it's like 85-90% murder mysteries (not much, but there's difference), with murderers ranging from plain Serial Killer to people killing in self-defense and hastily trying to cover it up to plain revenge-motivated murderer that simply gives up in the end than letting their loved ones take the heat.
Although Kindaichi got more point for being more intellegent and plausible.
Also, my favorite kid detective is So Touma from QED. Mostly because he has all kind of cases, from simple murder, crazy gimmick murder, kidnapping, fraud, scam, burglary, chain-burglary, MLM scam, mistaken identity, and spouse (boyfriend) cheating. No, seriously.
Does anybody know if the real plot of Conan moved forward? You know, about the organization that turned him into a kid in the first place? Whatever happened to that? They're also apparently the same ones that killed Kaito Kid's dad, I think?

I'm nearly up to date with it, there's a new character that's been making waves, but if I had to give an answer to your question, it would have to be no.
You know it's an issue if the plot has progressed farther in Nisekoi than Detective Conan...
BTW, SCM (and anyone else who likes the genre). I found an extremely short but fun manga about in the mahou shoujo category.

Hopefully Saber will try to see that the kid gets a proper upbringing this time. In JL canon Morgan tried to secure her child a throne without ever training Mordred to be capable of ruling anything. That might be good enough nowadays when 90% of the typical monarch's responsibilities are ceremonial and the rest tend to be things that only they can do, but have quietly agreed to only do them when the rest of the government asks them to, but not for a ruler in the Arthurian style.

Well that could be very funny to see the attempts of befriending Mordred-chan. In respect of the Pretty Cure franchise I highly recommend you the next season Mahou Tsukai Pretty Cure starts the next week. Have you considered including Slayers or Jackie Chan Adventures to the story?

No, neither of those really fit the mood. Slayers is too fanwanked, and in Jackie Chan Adventures power is too easy and has no price. Kyoko would try to kill J Ade for being annoying and suicidally stupid. By themselves, they're good series. as a crossover prospect... no.
