Chaos Kin Battle?
This would be good for anything involving the Aurum:

EDIT: Granted, the song only really goes into "battle-mode" near the end. Also, hi.

"We're home, Chewie."Here's one for Aurum Pyrrhon, also from Portal 2.
I disapprove of using music besides the default boss themes.
Though maybe Chaos Kin deserved its own theme, at least. And possibly Aurum Pyrrhon, on the same subject of arc final bosses.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Agreed.
But that doesn't mean we can't have a little fun, does it?
I sure said that!I'd probably stick with the default boss themes for the actual game, but I'd love to one day do a "Boss Rush: The Musical" and choose a different song to play for each boss. Maybe multiple songs for each one; that way, in case I die, I can listen to new songs on bosses I've already beaten.

"We're home, Chewie."I fricking hate Chapter 20 on any difficulty above 6. xP If the flying-section doesn't kill me, then those fucking Strongarm-Centurions right before the boss end me. xP Or when those fail to kill me, those stupid artillery-things kill me with their machinegun-fire! xP Hate, hate, hate, hate, hate...

Try a decent weapon with high overall defense and, if possible, recovery effect. It makes the game a whole lot easier.
"If someone asks you 'What is life?' it is like them asking 'What is a carrot?'; a carrot is a carrot, we know nothing more."The flying section is all about pattern remembrance unfortunately, there's no way around it other than that. The chariot can only fire straight forward, so your options are more limited. Make sure you know where the enemies are coming from so you're right in front of them when they do. And use charge shots on the pig house if you like surviving. Note you don't actually have to kill it, as that section is on a timer.
The land section is harder, though I've found it's only really the last battle that's too bad. Make sure you get the paralysis card before it disappears, and take out the Centurians first, then the Knights. Leave the Strongarms until last if you can, as they don't cover as much of the arena as the Juggernaut. Attack powers like Meteor work well against the Juggernaut.
My name is Addy. Please call me that instead of my username.I hate the Juggernauts.
At least the boss is pathetically easy.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I like to cheese the Juggernauts with Transparency or Playing Dead.
I have a message from another time...So, I've started replaying story mode, with the challenge of completing all the levels on at least difficulty 5 (which, because I am so bad at vidja gaems, is actually a lot for me, at least in the later levels).
I just got finished with the Hewdraw's level, and...I didn't know there were multiple endings to that one! I always had the nice gentlemanly head as Hewdraw Reborn (one of my favorite characters, actually), but this time I got the brightest-colored one. I kinda want to replay the level again, just to see what the third one's ending is.

"We're home, Chewie."I believe the order is determined by the order you knock off the heads in the sky battle. You could probably tell by the fact that the last remaining head dies with the body, but I believe the order the first two are knocked off determines which is the head miniboss (Which has some extra dialogue if you let the fight drag on a while, might I add) and which is the reborn boss.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I figured as much. Didn't know about that extra miniboss dialogue, though. I'll have to try that out, too.
...Dang, that level's gonna be the one I spend most of my time on. I need to see each one dying with the body, each one as the miniboss, AND each one as Reborn.
Pandora will just have to wait!
EDIT: The Reapers will have to wait, rather. I cannot, for the life of me, remember which levels go in what order.

"We're home, Chewie."I like the dialogue the head has part way through the fight. I forget which one of the three this is, but I think it's the "It's snack time!" one.
"I never noticed, you have a certain je ne sais quoi about you."
"What does that mean?"
"It's French for I'M GONNA EAT YOU!!"

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Oh geez, the friendly Hewdraw head's miniboss dialogue...
"But I just want to cuddle you...to death! He remains my favorite of the heads.
"We're home, Chewie."Oh dear fucking WOW. What I just saw in the shop, at 43300 hearts:
Optical Blade value 281, 1.5* Ranged, Overall Defence +8, Health +4, Weakening +1, Dash ch. shot +1, Knockback Recovery +1, Shot Homing -3.
An overall health and overall defence bonus, a minor dash charge shot boost, only ranged stars, and a great negative in homing. On Artillery Claws, that combination would be absolutely perfect. Especially if I could shaft Weakening (and the DCS optionally) for an extra ranged star or two. Value being what it is, that's feasible (OD+4, Health+6, Ranged *6, SH-3 is value of 341).
Too bad I have no money to buy it, but I'm getting around that by replaying chapter 1 on 9.0 with a weapon with HB+3 and HB power level 4, dying to Twinbellows and returning to the menu. 8/9k hearts at a time profit doing that, so I'll have what I need in a few goes without resetting the shop.
An amazing weapon will soon be mine!
My name is Addy. Please call me that instead of my username.Oh my god...and at only 43000 hearts as well? The best weapon I've ever seen in over 50 hours of play only had OD +8 (as a useful attribute) and cost about 120000 hearts! Still, after so many 9.0 runs thanks to Hades's treasure hunt money isn't an issue anymore, but holy crap you are lucky
Meanwhile I'm still trying to fuse a good solo weapon. My current one is alright, but it just isn't good enough to compete Hades's treasure hunt. It's been two weeks now and I've only managed to get the attributes I want onto a junk weapon. It should get easier from here, but it's gonna take a whole load of more fuses

"If someone asks you 'What is life?' it is like them asking 'What is a carrot?'; a carrot is a carrot, we know nothing more."Funnily enough, I also just recently ran into a Pudgy Palm with OD and Health +6 (on sale for 40k, no less). Should try to see if I can get it on something more reliable, though I'm currently still content with what I fused in Spotpass and simply just found off the ground.

"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyWhat level of OD?
Funnily enough, the rest of the shop also included an optical staff with Health +6 and Side Dash Continuous Fire of +4, with the only minus being melee dash. It's cost? 17700. Holy crap is that a good haul.
My name is Addy. Please call me that instead of my username.I meant to say that both modifiers had +6.
And yeah, SP fusing and Viridi's surprisingly generous stock in the shop have pretty much halved all of the hearts I saved while completing a certain Hades achievement. Going to have to start grinding again at some point.

"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyIm nowhere near close to getting the 9.0 all chapters achievement unfortunately. If I can get OD+8 back on Artillery Claws then I reckon I've got a reasonable shout though. It's unfortunate that such a great weapon I found happens to be an Optical Blade, which has such low attack power. Also, fusing all the abilities onto something else will likely be hard. But I can be patient.
I also have an OD+7 Burning Palm that does me beautifully in MP. It's got 2.5* Ranged, Fwd-dash charged shot +3, evasion +3 and in-peral autododge +2.
My name is Addy. Please call me that instead of my username. So would you all say the Ancient Staff is the worst weapon in the game, at least for singleplayer? Though I can't see it being very useful even in multiplayer either, except for tripping up foes with how the shots hang.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!
