Well, at best, the Wii U will become the second Gamecube. Fans will start coming out of the woodwork in the future and appreciate it for what it was. We hope...

Will that happen during or after the current generation?

Not sure whether it belongs here or somewhere else, but apparently there's this thing on Miiverse where people can't seem to find the actual gaming forums on the Internet and therefore hang around on Miiverse to converse about games, and there's now this outrage because in order to lower the amount of spam on Miiverse they decided to set a delay of three minutes on posts that are a comment to someone else's post, which doesn't affect comments on your own post, just comments on posts by someone else.

In short, Miiverse isn't a place for me, and it's not because of the three minute delay.

I'm hoping that it gets removed soon, maybe in favor of adding the Block button to PC Miiverse?

I don't use it as much as I could, but when I do, it's seems ok.

A lot of Miiverse is stupidity or trolling, partially due to a lot more younger people being there now. There's still some good posts and art though.

It's enjoyable to see some of the things people post, at least.

Hey, if nothing else, the stuff Proton Jon posts on there is pretty funny.

For every "y cant metrod crawl" there's a "yo who wants to be my girlfriend/boyfriend"

Miiverse is full of children. Do you honestly expect most of the posts there to be high-quality?

If you really want as festering hive, try looking at Cartoon Network's official forums sometime. That poor "quote" button...

Perhaps there should be age group restrictions on posting, or maybe allow users to block posts from younger users.

The one with the poster saying the Smash series needs more Caucasian characters so it can succeed in the west is silly. And that they are all Asian or animals.

Well, none of them are really based on Japanese or asian-ish countries, so assuming that Marth isn't living in Fantasy Medieval European country composed of Asians... Nope.

Unless they really embrace Mukokuseki, Takamaru would probably count as an Asian human character, given he was placed in a fictionalised era of Japanese history. Perhaps Sakurai will take some visual cues from his monumentally 80s TV appearance◊?

Why?

There is official art already <_< And if you want to take from non canon sources there are Captain Rainbow and that Samurai Warriors cameo.

If he appears; it'll likely be with a heavy redesign incorporating elements from various sources, as with Pit. So nothing is completely out of the question.

But with Pit it was completely new design that was anime-ish while original was rather cartoony like Mario and such ._.
