No...not crazy about it, it's too busy.
Bump. I feel like we have enough for a crowner, but I'm not totally for any of the images so far.
First key to interpreting a work: Things mean things.Frollo's horse? Ganondorf's horse? Those are the first two examples that come to mind for me.
"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartWhy not Epona◊? The horse is not only cool, but also makes the rider look even more cool by virtue of riding her, which is actually part of the trope description.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. It's really just a normal looking horse
How about Jolly Jumper winning at Tic Tac Toe◊

Someone mentioned Ganondorf◊?
Edit: Phantom Ganon, but whatever.

First key to interpreting a work: Things mean things. As far as I can tell, this trope just requires the horse to look cool, not that it has to be extraordinary in how it looks.

May I suggest a griffin mount?
It's a "horse" (in that it's a mount). It's a mix 'n match creature. It can be armored, it's a "horse of a different color". It flies and it's ultra badass.

Suggest a particular image, please.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.@Griffin: No. A Cool Horse is a horse, of course.
As for suggestions... hmm...

An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.Actually no the description says it includes any Horse of a Different Color.
Any mount.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!However, Cool Horse is the more general supertrope. If you want a page image of something that is an example of one of the more specific subtropes, it should be on the subtrope's page, the same way that examples that fit the subtropes should be on the subtrope page, not the supertrope page.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Finding [1]◊ without text would work pretty well nothing says Cool Horse than making it into a Motorcycle.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!That's My Horse Is a Motorbike. Subtrope.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.What? No. that trope is about literal Motorbikes. Sengoku isnt even an example of it. Its just a horse with handlebars.
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Then it's a Mechanical Horse.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Nope its a real horse with handlebars instead of what ever those things are called that you control a horse with.
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Automaton Horse is about horses not needing the care they do in real life, so it's not that either. Still, it looks like an example of Mechanical Horse, and could therefore cause trope misuse.
This implies, quite correctly, that my mind is dark and damp and full of tiny translucent fish.I think if we just go around suggesting very example of a Cool Horse we'll be here all day.
I vote for half of post 20. Unless there's a problem with having spider horses... An eight-legged horse seems really impractical...
I'm still partial to "Silver fightin' a bear" myself. There are a whole bunch of subtropes, most of which are about overtly "fantastical" horses. That makes me think the supertrope should have a relatively "ordinary" looking horse.
