I pre-ordered two games as my first pre-order ever; Transformers: War for Cybertron
and Front Mission
Evolved. Both had preorder DLC. Transformers had a skin of Shockwave
and Front Mission had two new customizable mechs.
I was happy.
Then i learned that to use my Shockwave code i had to register on a site, enter a bunch of personal info, type in the code there, wait for an E-mail confirmation then use that
code to unlock shockwave. Too much hassle. Eventually shockwave became available to everyone with the first map pack and i never even scratched off the covering.
Evolved was a game i was really really really looking forward too. I was waiting for a TPS set in the Front Mission universe since the PS1
days. No joke. I couldn't wait to type in my code and show off my premium Wanzer to all the fools online. Problem was, the code didn't work. I spent nearly an hour typing in and re-typing the code in thinking i made some sort of mistake. Nope. Turns out it took Squarenix a couple days to let you activate pre-order DLC
and a few months to let you do it in CANADA. Of course by then i had realized Front Mission Evolved was an utter piece of garbage.
Fuck pre-order DLC.
Fight the Good fight or get out of the way.
