[up]Well, they aren't hard, just takes longer. Same goes for the larger grades too, the wonders of gunpla. tongue

[up][up][up]Just take some photos, it's fun.

don't think I will ever do much except maybe lining them.
Bad news past self, you will get a shelf for the (ever expanding) collection and an airbrush to paint them.

I'm going to save up to get the MG Build Strike Full Package and then the Universe Booster.

Since I never built a Gunpla (part of it is because I'm afraid to screw it up big time), I wanted to ask if somebody made a custom Gunpla ? (For example, mostly done with a mobile suit, but with few additional parts)

Because I wanted to build a GP03S Stamen, but with a Full-Burnern upgrade like. Of course, I watched too much Build Fighters, so it may be impossible to pull it off, but I just wanted to know.

I'm not crazy, just creatively different.

[up] Since they're from the same line, it could be possible. Swap out the Stamen backpack for the FB backpack, and you're golden.

[up] You could get it closer to $33 if you haggle.

Oh, and that very same store also sells a "class A" MG Epyon for $11.

Maybe I'm just used to inflated prices but < $40 for an MG is pretty much a steal.

Thesegougou: I haven't done one yet but looking at the parts (dalong.net, it's a great resource) the FB's backpack is a polycap but the 03 is a peg, so they are not compatible...out of the box anyway.

[up][up]Note that the msrp of the full armor is 8000 which is about $70. I guess it's a bootleg? (It would be SO embarrassing if it wasn't and I would look like a jerk)

No chance of a kit below their msrp here, you can only hope it's close enough (like most hobby shops that give a discount) or else it's like $20-$50 more in departmental stores.

The pathetic thing is that gunpla back here is officially distributed by just one company, who then throws a hissy fit when other hobby shops sell it.

Fuck that noise. Monopoly is always bad.

Bandai should authorize more distributors so we won't get subjected to ridiculous extra costs for our gunpla.

Yeah the Full Armor is a bootleg. And it's almost two years old, but my MG RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 1/100 is still inside its box, the bags untouched LOL. There was a 15% discount last Dec 2012 when I bought it.

Hello there, just recently got into the idea of Gunpla thanks to Gundam Build Fighters and such.

So... any recommendations for a starter kit?

[up] Aside from the Gunpla Starter Kit (RX-78-2 and Zaku-II) my choices for first kit are the HG 00 Raiser (w/ GN Sword III), HG AGE-1 Normal, and HGBF Build Strike Gundam Full Package.

Sazabi Ver Ka, AKA PLASTIC HELL/HEAVEN

This should be one of the kits you build after you've built a few MG's.

Also another question, can we talk about custom Gunpla we'd like to build? Cause I got an idea or two.
