Started a new character and I'm already sick of trying to gain levels. With my current stats I can't even grind properly, so I have to look elsewhere for XP buffs. Not to mention that newbie gear looks like total crap. I probably wouldn't even mind being low-level that much if I didn't have to look at that eyesore.

Well, I've gained a bunch of levels, reclassed a few times, and I'm pretty happy with it. YMMV, though; I'm not liking how it's a total pain to gain attribute points, but all-too-easy to lose them.
My best part is the fact I have other characters in my party. They're real low level right now (0 and 4) and quite useless, but they're loads of fun.
Happiness is zero-gee with a sinus cold.I hope neither of them chose 'Eyesight' as a dump stat. Otherwise, they'll need to be equipped with 'Glasses' to correct it, and that'll force the nickname 'Foureyes' on them for at least the rest of the tutorial section.
Switch FC code: SW-4420-1809-1805The Show Within a Show is amazing, though...
I am become Death, Destroyer of Miniputts. And the "Internet" subsystem introduced recently is incredibly diverse. Nice to see that we all embrace altenrate chat methods.
I'm surprised the Moral Guardians haven't been all over this, it gets pretty graphic.
Do you want to have sex? I think we should have sex. CASUAL SEX.Well they won't tell you this, but it's because the Moral Guardians are all playing it too.
It's quite popular, you know.
One of my few regrets about being born female is the inability to grow a handlebar mustache. -LandstanderThe Moral Guardians tend to aim at the minigames, especially Mortal Kombat, Call Of Duty, Grand Theft Auto and Halo. And I only play one of them within the game, this whole 'College' training for a higher class is so damn time-consuming.
Curse the ill fortune that led you to me.And the sheer gold requirements for college. 10k per level? OUCH especially considering at low class-levels its impossible to make more than 8 gold an hour. it gets a little bit better with overtime boost but then I take penalties to stat and relationship growth. I have even heard of people losing more gold than they gain in class levels.
Also the lack of money making minigames currently saddens me. then again the server economies have been bad ever since some fool tried to flood the market with houses.
All I need are a few points less in Laziness and a few more points in persistence then I could grind to Tier 2 easily. I could even hit the Prestige classes like doctor but that would require all laziness points to be burned.

Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans.Eh. The game's fun enough that I've never been tempted to stop playing it or anything, but honestly, someone somewhere has put way too much effort into viral marketing the character creation minigame.
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableBut without that viral marketing there's not really much else for the newbies to do. :/
So much so that people honestly believe that the internet minigame was created for the marketing of the character creation minigame.
I'm having to learn to pay the priceActually on my server, college is free to those who have owned the game for less than 19 years.
Curse the ill fortune that led you to me.How do I reroll?
You kind of have to know the devs. It sucks.
Also, taking the 'Buddhist' path will allow you to reroll on natural death.
Curse the ill fortune that led you to me.Sigh. I'm levelling up in the Healer class, but our server makes it mandatory for all the Male chars to take at least 2 levels in Fighter. The worst part is that I put all my points in INT - rolled terribly on WIS, CHA, DEX, LUK and forgot to build up STR and CON. This makes grinding... rather difficult.
Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.^ Try using the cheat "$ter0id$." Watch out, though, because it can glitch up your avatar with traits from the opposite sex.
But that buff is ridiculously expensive- and users have reported that their character always wants more, even when they're trying to get them off of the buff.
AND it's being cracked down on by the mods.

Curse the ill fortune that led you to me.
The diversity of the character models and faces in this game is amazing. I hear they're even coming up with a patch that'll let older players pick what the new ones look like when they start the game.
Hopefully it won't be as expensive and risky as that plastic customization they patched in a while ago.
