"The domain appears to be registered to Square Enix"

My brain just imploded.

Edit: Okay, looking at some of the stuff made by Square's subsidiaries, I guess it's not that ridiculous.

Let's hope they don't fix the AI.

You'll see a lot of old properties being resurrected because Eidos got flushed with Square-Enix money and a desire for a Western company to make Western games for them.

Given the recent many reviveals of franchises I've seen (esp from SE owned Edios) have turned out, my moneys on "In Name Only".

I just hope they stick to pure (Demolition Derby + Racing) as opposed to that exploration and mission bullshit from the third game. call me bitter but I HATED the missions from the third game (they were tolerable in the second if only because there were very few.)

Heres to hoping they bring back the epic fail COMPLETELY AWESOME physics. there was just something satisfying about lose all forms of control at high speeds (and applying high speeds to your opponents in violent ways.)

Because they've been released... oh, wait. They haven't been released yet. Except Kane And Lynch 2.

@JAF 1970

They have admited via previews they removed everything that made the original good from Deus Ex, dumbed down Thief ect. so don't start that.

Well, I may have slightly more hope for this, I don't recall Carmageddon priding itself on complexity.

Uh, yeah. I've interviewed them personally and they said nothing of the sort.

I'm not sure what sticky cover, no resource management, Notice This as an integral part of a sequel to a game focused on exploration (dev twitter, french), regerating health, focus on EPIC moves like ripping through walls, no vulnerability+cloak from the start that makes stealth pointless (same preview) is but dumbing down.

^Looks like you started anyways.

I'll still give SE/Eidos the benefit of the doubt, if only because I'm hoping for a Driving Game that I can actually play with a friggin' keyboard.

It's entirely possible for the devs to be doing that on their own without prompting from the publishers
