RL Me: Introverted, but polite, friendly and talkative when approached. Instead of approaching people directly when I want to talk, I tend to do something that will pique people's interest like knitting/crocheting, molding my rubber eraser into various shapes, origami, fiddle with my guitar, etc.

Online Me: More direct. More likely to get snappish. More likely to do and say stupid things.

I'm really boring in real life. And apparently slightly less so online?

I did that on purpose, but I didn't think anyone would get it.

I talk a lot more about religion here than offline. Also, perhaps I am a little sillier.

Apart from that, I don't think I differ all that much.

I'm slightly grumpier online, due to the idiocy being slightly more concentrated.

Although...I hit fewer people on the internet so maybe it evens out?

This one is much more appracheable, friendly and generally nice online than in real life. Also, she is much more outspoken, not to mention more articulate. This one's rl personality can be described as both shy and aloof. Also, extremely apathetic (once, when asked by teacher about wereabouts of this one's classmates, she answered, without raising eyes from the book, something like "My apologies, but I'm afraid I have no idea. But then again, if all of them decided to jump out of the window, I wouldn't notice") , selfish and almost unfriendly - though not impolite.

I'd say I'm about the same, although it's a bit easier for me to carry on conversations online since it's just easier to compose my thoughts in writing. I'm also kind of terrible at initiating or joining conversations with people I don't know all that well in real life. It's not that I'm unfriendly, just that I can't always think of things to say. Even here, I'm a bit overwhelmed with the sheer amount of conversations already in progress on these forums.

I know that feel, bro.

I'm guessing you're actually pretty talkative once you're in a conversation, but you can't ever get one started?

There isn't too much difference tbh. IRL I'm more noticed then here.

A familiar feeling. This one has no idea what to talk with people about, but those who had a misfortune of sharing a private conversation with her know hat she might be difficult to get to stop talking once it starts somehow.

I mostly get others to start the talk themselves. It even says so on my MSN.

I'm probably a bit more outspoken, but otherwise not that different. Also, the internet allows me occasional opportunities for outbursts of Large Ham which are just sadly lacking in Real Life outside bad amateur dramatic societies.

Much the same, save less comprehensible, more prone to random speakings, more prone to getting annoyed, and much easier to make bewildered.
