"Yeah, all the sane people are on this boat," deadpanned Sandy.

Renji took a seat, and turned his head to Sandy,"Which is interesting really, since all of the cannons are on the big ship. It's also where the person I trust the least is, remember, if one of us says to take cover, we should do that without question."

Rey turned his head at the sounds of commotion elsewhere on Raven's Claw as Sub-Zero had apparently shut down, and even though he wasn't able to move very quickly, was heading in that direction as fast as he could go. "Hey, hey hey HEY!" he shouted, picking up the cane he was leaning on as though to brandish it as a weapon. "What's going on?"

"Hey! What are you doing!?" Raspberyl yelled as Lee charged straight for 47, then began swinging gracelessly

at the taller man. Thinking fast as she heard Aki's soft-spoken command, the Delinquent-turned-pirate followed May's lead and sprinted toward the shinobi, hoping they could subdue Lee before anyone came to any serious harm.

"Stop it, Lee! Just calm down!" she insisted, still a short distance behind May

"They're not even moving the guy to a better place," Setzer said. "They're just letting him rust on the deck like a toy. If worst comes to worse, though, I can just go to that ship myself and become the new quartermaster."

Ithilrandir just stood and watch as the entire extremely dramatic interaction on their ragtag fleet unfurled, barely containing his yawn of boredom. Of course, Sub-Zero suddenly tumbling over and apparently losing his consciousness would have been a cause of concern, had the fleet not, at the current point of speaking, being populated by the extremely weird newcomers. Who included, among others, a talking pony, a human kid who had apparently ignored his question the other night, a slick-looking alchemist reeking of strange ingredients, a particular girl wielding some sort of weird pagan wand. And Karzahni.

"That one?" he said in a distinctly Nordic-sounding voice and accent. "We'll fix him up just fine once we reach the next town. Being a machine has its... benefits."

Which begged the question. All the while, the ships were still taking their time to move rather slowly across the body of water.

"Where are all the galley slaves when we need them?" the Noldor lord said in exasperation, leaning against the shuttle boat's railing.

Guybrush would find Sub-Zero still alive, though unmoving. "Get him inside. Maybe he had some kind of heat stroke" Jim instructed, and prepared to help move the cyborg by grabbing his legs. With his armor unpowered and Sub-Zero having put on a few pounds in his transformation, Jim was going to need some help with this.

"He's a cyborg, not a robot," Rogue said to Setzer, and frowned. "Give me a minute."

Rogue then flew back over to the Raven's Claw as Guybrush seemingly tried to move Sub-Zero to no avail. After failing at this, he checked the guy's pulse and winced a bit pulling his hand back.

"He's cold!" Guybrush said, rubbing his cold hands. "But he is alive."

Rey winced, putting the cane down and leaning on it again, following after them. "What happened to him? Did something hit him?"

"Cold? In this sun? Well, let's take him in anyway. Maybe he'll wake up enough to tell us what's wrong" Jim suggested, and helped Rogue take the unconscious cyborg cyromancer

into the cabin and set him on the captain's bed there.

"It's possible that he needs to be rebooted again," Rogue said as she used her Super-Strength to help Raynor carry Sub-Zero. "Thankfully, I still have Sektor's code in my head and the Doctor has his sonic screwdiver which scanned him."

"Of course he'd be cold," Rogue told Raynor. "He controls ice."

Rundas looked in the direction of the brig once he heard quite a lot of commotion coming from, it seemed that the cybernetic ice warrior had shut down out of nowhere from what he was hearing.

What the hell happened to him?" Rundas wondered.

"Sounds like the cyborgs in your world are pretty primitive then," Oswald said to Setzer. "I mean, look at Hakumen on our neighboring vessel! He's a cyborg samurai, and he's probably the most technologically advanced member of our entire pirate crew!"

After swimming in the water for awhile, Kirby had what he thought was a most excellent breakfast. He even tried some of Fawful's coffee, though he immediately spit it out due to its bitter taste. Why or how anyone could drink that stuff was beyond him...

As the group traversed into the water, Kirby watched in awe as the tank transformed into an enormous battleship. He looked over at everyone's change of attires as he tried to figure out what the general theme of this curse was. Suddenly, it dawned on him... pirates. He's had a few tussles with them here and there in Dreamland, given that Meta Knight's base of operations was in a pretty big hotspot. It did seem kind of a weird "choice" for a curse, though he supposed it wasn't not much more strange than toys or whatever was going on in that last area.

Kirby decided to pass the time by drawing the vast ocean surrounding them. He looked down at the crayons and papers he'd been holding on to, only to find that they, too, had transformed due to the curse. Next to him was a small glass container full of black ink, a quill sticking out of it, and a roll of parchment. Kirby frowned, disappointed that he wouldn't be able to color anything using this. It was better than nothing, though, so he picked up the supplies and tried to find a nice spot on the deck to draw.

Just as he was getting ready to create a grand work of art, he heard some commotion coming from close by. He looked over and saw 47 sternly saying something to Rock Lee, then turning to head below deck. Suddenly, Lee charged 47 for no apparent reason. Kirby dropped his quill, and ran over to the scene. While he ran, he heard as some of the group yelled at Lee to stop, and even caught a glance at Aki pointing her rifle at him.

Hoping to control the situation, Kirby opened his mouth wide once he was close enough, and vacuumed up the shinobi in an attempt to subdue him.

meanwhile Karzahni stomped round the boat muttering to himself in some random gibberish.

Sometimes he looked over the side into the water while other time he was standing in the cabin doing nothing much.

Rey sighed, then leaned against the rails along the side of the boat, just looking out to sea, going silent.

After a minor freak-out about breakfast (soon resolved by filching a little something from Kirby), a larger freak-out about the pirate-curse transformation (not so much on herself since that was how she arrived in Extremus, but with the transformation of the ship and the others in what she thought was somewhat cooler pirate gear) Lina found herself looking forward to this pirate adventure. She had sailed the high seas a number of times before, especially to look for pirates to steal from when bandits became scarce, and she felt more at home than since arriving.

Of course, a metal ship - something she had never seen before and was amazed could actually float - was a little distracting, but she could deal with that. It also helped that she knew classic pirate attire and, since everyone was dressed in it, she didn't feel like she was in quite as much of a freak show any longer.

Then Rock Lee started causing problems, and the proposed solutions (save Kirby's, though Lina thought Kirby might be trying to eat him) seemed a bit extreme. Eager to show off a bit of her magic prowess, she scrambled over towards the heart of the commotion.

"Hey Kirby, let him go, I've got something to cool him off!"

A flock of seagull fluttered over the group's fleet, flying almost directly over the shuttle-turned-boat, as expected from every recurrent sea-going scenario with the protagonist and his blood brothers setting out on a quest for great justice. The large flock and the resounding flapping noise they made might possibly disrupt whatever the group was doing...

... and maybe promised a fat, juicy meal of roasted bird for anyone willing to take a wild aim.

The bounty hunter looked upward spotting the flock of directly over the boat, flapping their wings rather innocently though the sound of their flapping was rather loud as well.

May as well take advantage of an opportunity like this.” Rundas thought as he aimed his arm cannon at the flock, firing blasts of ice at a few of the birds.

The ice missile hit an unfortunate bird flying at the front of the flock, freezing it into a chunk of frozen poultry as often found in every housewife's refridgerator back in the modern world. The frozen-alive bird dropped on the deck of the Raven's Claw with a loud thunk, fortunately not injuring anyone in the process.

The rest of the flock, seeing the threat, began to scatter to fly off into all directions. Any steady aim in the group could attempt to squeeze in another shot or two if they so pleased. Not Ithilrandir though, what with all his ranged weapons being turned into throwing axes for the duration of the day.
