(I saw Allan mention the lack of one so I thought I'd make one.)

Recent political stuff:

  • The vote to see if Britain should adopt Alternative Voting has failed.
  • Lib Dems lose lots of councils and councillors, whilst Labour make the majority of the gains in England.
  • The Scottish National Party do really well in the elections.

So it looks like Nigel got bored of people not talking about him all the time and so is about to return to his role of UKIP's Eternal Leader.

At least according to the Mail.

If this is on topic here...

Can I get help to make UsefulNotes.Magna Carta? 'Cause there's 1, well, 2 wicks pointing to it, if you count Sandboxes...

But mainly 'cause turning Main.Magna Carta into a disambig for Video Game/ and Useful Notes/ should be a thing, but makes no sense if there's no Useful Notes/?

So, basically, "Someone explain the Magna Carta for me?" I guess?

Fusion GPS interview with House panel leaves huge pile of breadcrumbs for Trump-Russia investigators

The House Intelligence Committee on Thursday released the transcript of the panel's November interview with Glenn Simpson, the cofounder of the opposition research firm Fusion GPS.

Simpson said Trump's golf courses in Scotland and Ireland were also "concerning" because financial statements obtained by Fusion showed "enormous amounts of capital flowing into these projects from unknown sources."

"At least on paper it says it's from The Trump Organization, but it's hundreds of millions of dollars," Simpson said. "And these golf course are just, you know, they're sinks. They don't actually make any money."

Schiff then asked whether the data company Cambridge Analytica, whose parent company is based in the UK, was the link between the Trump campaign and the Brexit campaign.

Simpson replied that the billionaire Mercer family, which has been credited with paving the way to Trump's victory, were "signficant" — moreso than Cambridge Analytica, which he said may have been "selling snake oil."

Simpson also mentioned a "Bannon Stone associate" named Theodore Roosevelt Malloch, an American associated with UKIP who he believed was "a significant figure in this."

"Were you able to find any factual links between the Mercers and Assange or Wikileaks or Farage?" Schiff asked.

Simpson pointed to Farage's trips to New York, and said he had been told, but had not confirmed, that "Nigel Farage had additional trips to the Ecuadoran Embassy...and that he provided data to Julian Assange."

"What kind of data?" Schiff asked.

"A thumb drive," Simpson replied.

Trump-Russia probe is told Nigel Farage may have handed thumb drive of data to Julian Assange

Nigel Farage has been thrust into the Donald Trump Russia scandal after he was accused of secretly handing data to Julian Assange, the Wikileaks founder.

The former Ukip leader is alleged to have repeatedly met the elusive hacker in the Ecuadorian embassy and delivered him a "thumb drive" of information.

The claim is controversial because Wikileaks published Democratic Party emails during the election that were suspected of coming from Russian hackers.

It is unclear when the trips are alleged to have taken place but it appears the claim includes suggestions some visits happened before the 2016 vote.

The allegation came from the man who commissioned a dossier of lurid allegations about Mr Trump. He admitted the claim had not been not corroborated.

Mr Farage, a prominent Trump supporter, rebutted the suggestion, telling The Telegraph: “It is yet more conspiratorial nonsense.”

Seems like a bunch of teenagers made asses of themselves at Gove's daughter's birthday party. They also brought alcohol and cigarettes.

She said the boys' attitude towards the young women made her want to "weep" and that the atmosphere was "anything but light-hearted", describing her daughter as "visibly upset" by their behaviour.

After wrestling the boys from her home, and thinking that she was lucky they were only 15 or she wouldn't have been able to, they waited outside for their parents and Ubers to pick them up and started to be noisy.

Because of the racket, she wrote that neighbours complained and police were called to investigate the noise.

Ms Vine wrote: "Three men from the estate opposite us came over to complain. A few minutes later, two policemen arrived, investigating a noise complaint. My night (mare) was complete."

She said that the behaviour of the young "thugs" at the party, she was worried about protecting her daughter "from the twisted world in which she is growing up."

2. The corpse it was buried next to freaked them out.

Amaretto is a good starter drink....it's very sweet with a slight alcohol burn.

It was in fact my first alcohol, too. Most of the other stuff is pretty much an acquired taste but Amaretto you either like or you don't.
