Isn't the trope about materials that "won't fly past censors on TV [...] so it's included on video releases"? So wouldn't the image be some scene which was censored on TV (before), but not on DVD (after)?

And since we can't really show it, should we just as the readers to Take Our Word for It?

Yeah. I wish I had the censored clip from Family Guy where Lois and Peter were on the couch. I could then just pair it with the uncensored version I have on DVD.

I can come up with a Censored and Uncensored Dildo (exact same scene.) is that too racy? (As well as the above Panty Shot examples.)

The funny thing about the dildo images is, that the censored one looks way more dirty than the uncensored one.

I guess the ones in post seven are OK, I just have just overlooked them between the dildos and the loads and loads of panty shots.

If we use that one, I suggest using that kind of line as the caption.

Come to think of it, what do you call that trope when you cover up the naughty bits with funny images like the ones Raso posted? I remember the one from Ghost In The Shell had entered memetic status, and also saw it in Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. There's nothing like it at the Censorship Tropes list. YKTTW?

It would be a Sub-Trope of Censor Box.

The funny thing in the second pair is that this Panty Shot is so gratuitous and forced that made you wonder why they would make it if just to censor latter.

Anyway, all these are good, I think. That Panty Shot is probably one of the most tastfull of the ones you posted, as there is no close up. My personal favorite is the last one, as it seems a mockery to the concept itself.

PS:Also, just to be sure, we may have to add a 'TV version' and 'DVD version' tags in the images.
