"Return South Park"? South Park was never on Cartoon Network.

Indeed, it's on Comedy Central and some syndicated versions.

And if you don't think there's enough Family Guy on Cartoon Network, check TBS.

Nick was much better around the start of the 21st century with CatDog, TheAngryBeavers, and all that good jazz. ChalkZone...ahh, how I miss you so.

Cartoon Network went downhill the past few years, but it seems to be picking back up. Adding AdventureTime and RegularShow were GREAT moves. Lots of people have a problem with ProblemSolverz being so bright and colorful, but I like it. I mean, the humans look as freaky as heck, but the show's funny.

Disney: Eh. I liked Toon Disney Better, with Chip N' Dale Rescue Rangers, Darkwing Duck, Duck Tales, Gargoyles, Quack Pack...Man, those were the BEST.

Nick & Cartoon Network:

Both were cool at a time, but reently both went downhill like hell (Especialy Cartoon Network)

Never bothered with Disney at all.

[up]Wow, don't you just hate it when you feel nostalgic, even when you're yet to face a midlife crisis?

Disney Channel I never really minded, but it's probably the most kid-centric of the three, and I grew out of it. I do still watch Phineas and Ferb, but only really when new episodes show up on Netflix. Been meaning to check out Gravity Falls, but it's not a priority for me.

Nick, I don't even know what's going on with it anymore. There's nothing on it anymore that catches my interest, but at the same time there isn't anything on there that I really find objectionable. Aside from Spongebob. Eff that show.

Cartoon Network, amazingly, seems to be in the healthiest state at the moment, with plenty of good, witty shows on there (can't get enough of Regular Show especially), and they do the best most of the time to cater to all the demographics without seeming too much like they're pandering.

Don't we already have a thread on this? Either way...

Well I'll admit it's been a while since I've seen any of the networks themselves, though I know some of the shows.

CN(Then and Now): I never really watched cartoon network since i didn't have it(only watched it in mandarin). It had some nice shows like Foster's Home and Powerpuff as well as the Justice League. Regular Show was very fun in the way it subverted its initial formulas(normal, idiot ball, weird climax). Cartoon Network seemed to suffer the least from network decay from what I've heard though

Nick(Then and Now): This along with Disney were my main networks as a kids. Enjoyed a fair amount from Arnold, Wild Thornberrys, Rugrats, DP, etc. Honestly, I was never too into Teen Nick though, at least comparatively speaking.

Disney: Still have a bit of a soft spot for it, though it's definitely declined a lot more than the others. It's understandable why it's usually third place for people. The sitcoms certainly seem to be their main shows despite the popularity of the animated ones. Objectively speaking I'd say its animation is probably in second(combining XD). Phineas and Ferb, Gravity Falls, Motorcity, Tron: Uprising show they have some good cartoons, but not really close to their former glory.

Are you just trying to troll me? Yes, I know Motorcity didn't get a second season ordered. But I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I thought they were only planning on making one season of Tron Uprising anyway. I could've sworn I read that somewhere.

Cartoon Network: The only thing I truly like about the channel now is that it is giving Uncle Grampa a TV show, everything else on it I have Indifference/Disapproval of

Nickelodeon: Except for Kung Fu Panda and to a extent Robot And Monster, Tuff Puppy and to an even lesser extent The Penguins Of Madagascar I can't care less about anything on it

Mouse House: Gravity Falls is good and I'm looking forward to Wander over Yonder (even though a part of me said I shouldn't)

Hub: A question, If the Brony subculture didn't exist, would any of you care about this network? (aside from nostalgia)

[up][up] (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻)!

[up]Even without ponies, The Hub also has Dan Vs, Transformers: Prime, Littlest Pet Shop, and The Haunting Hour The Series, so yes, I would still care about that network.

I've also been hearing that Kaijudo cartoon is good too. I should look into that one.

Honestly, I don't watch that much television anymore. I more of a netflix/online streaming person now. From what I watch I'd say Cartoon Network is the one who's most consistently the best. treatment of Young Justice aside, they've been having a good balance with their shows. I'm also a fan of the latest Toonami line up (saving for that crappy Tenchi show.)

Nick I just really don't watch. The only show I'm watching consistently is the 2012/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon. Korra is ok.

Disney I don't watch at all. Too many crappy Tween Coms. I here Gravity Falls is apparently good, so whenever it gets put on Netflix, i'll give it a view.

I don't get The Hub, so no comments there.

Cartoon Network: Current shows seem pretty solid for the most part. Loved Regular Show and Gumball from day 1, but it took a while to warm up to Adventure Time (I think the fantasy elements throw me at times). I seem to be the only adult who finds Almost Naked Animals tolerable. Keep meaning to sample the action shows beyond Juniper Lee, but never have. Nothing on Adult Swim has ever sounded interesting to me. Overall, seems like the best bet anymore for cartoons.

Nickelodeon: Am I the only one still watching Penguins of Madagascar? Seems no one mentions that show at all. Hated Spongebob at age 12 in 1999, and still don't think I could ever warm up to its better episodes. Angry Beavers is still awesome. Have fond memories of most "classic" nicktoons as well, except Ren & Stimpy (I think mom banned it), Rocko's Modern Life (ditto, but I sometimes watched it anyway), and Aaahh!!! Real Monsters (just never watched it as much as the others). Still can't believe that NOBODY remembers or likes The Brothers Flub except for me. Loads of (slowly fading) nostalgia, but I keep holding out hope for more Penguins.

Disney Channel/Toon Disney/Disney XD: I had an inexplicable hatred of most things Disney in my teens, and never really knew why, so I avoided the Disney channels for the longest time. That said, P & F seems to be suffering a minor bout of overexposure, but it's still good. Fish Hooks is pretty good. I will forever be kicking myself for shrugging off Brandy & Mr. Whiskers and Dave the Barbarian. Have never watched anything on Disney XD, but a friend of mine who's kind of picky on cartoons said he liked Kid vs. Kat, and Slugterra sounds like it has potential. Original-flavor Disney seems to be slowly breaking away from the cheap interchangeable zitcoms, while XD feels more like Disney Channel used to be.

The Hub: Still amazed at how they seemingly came out of nowhere, and now everypony (see what I did there?) knows about them. Figures that they pick up Animaniacs, a show which my sister enjoys but I hate, just before sis comes home for Christmas break. :-P

Let's see:

Nickelodeon: They seem to be flipping the bird (no pun intended) at The Penguins Of Madagascar, which is currently their only decent show. Never a good sign. Spongebob Squarepants needs to go (they're taking the term "beating a dead horse" to a whole new level with that one), and all of their other shows are nothing to write home about (I'm glad to see the last of I Carly).

Disney Channel: I only really see it when my kid brothers watch it. It's...decent, I guess. Some of their sitcoms get a bit grating at times, but their cartoons are actually pretty good.

Cartoon Network: They get points for Adventure Time, Regular Show, and reruns of American Dad (before it got really lame).

The Hub: It's a decent channel for reruns of some old shows and being one of the only channels that shows Muppet movies. I'll be honest, I've only seen one episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (for a paper I'm writing for my feminist critical theory class, of all things), but it seems like a neat show. grin I don't think I've seen enough of Disney XD or Boomerang to judge them.
