Thanks for the tips. For what its worth, that's only the second time I've drawn LuĂseach, and it was done without any real life or drawing references, just memory and my better-than-nothing judgement. Its a small miracle that it came out looking as decently as it did. And hopefully I'll be able to improve on that look for the next time I draw her.
this place needs me here...heheh, whoops. It's been that kinda day...

Oops, wrong thread bro.
Anyways, posting returns to normal tomorrow.
Life is hard, that's why no one survives.Yomegami, I've done a post for the cloaked being now. It's exited the scene for the moment.
Nothing much to post for Gwion as yet, perhaps I'll have a better idea by the time Masterofchaos posts and I start working on a post for the Terra Novans.
So... Borderlands... where were we on the planning? Speaking cynically, we can, like most RPGs, abstract what we ain't gonna use, write it in if needed. So from previous reflections on what gets visited:
- Places to eat, drink, and sleep, always seem to prove useful — a saloon or two, in other words, as often suggested.
- Arenas find use, adventurers being as they are. Straining the theme? Eh, maybe.
- A guaranteed source of medical attention will make tropers easier about letting theirs take the odd bullet.
- Characters usually seem to pack supplies, but a store carrying basics could see use.
- Pools and such seems to attract folk in general, but unlikely to be relevant here, so that's just me musing.
Sounds good to me as well.

I mostly agree with KC as far as the new thread goes. On a minor note, I think we should call it Frontier rather than Borderlands; the former just seems more applicable than the latter to me and still describes what the setting essentially is.
On a different note, I do have an idea concerning a store for Sophie and Midori to stumble into, though I'm still fleshing things out a bit.
Icon by Civvi the Civilian!Absolutely agreed, if only to avoid unnecessary overlap.

As it turns out, I'm not feeling so hot today. I'll try tonight or tomorrow to post.
Life is hard, that's why no one survives.Sorry to hear that. Hope you feel better soon.
Sorry for not posting. Got a bunch of new 3DS games today, particularly Fantasy Life, and have been quite enjoying those. Also, the lack of activity isn't exactly encouraging.
I'll probably post tomorrow; I need to go to bed now.

Icon by Civvi the Civilian!And... four new arrivals in the Capital. Anyone got any knowledge of who else is hanging about around the Visitor Terminal?
Posted. Sorry for taking awhile. Had a bit of a writer's block.
Also had a dream that you guys already started Frontier and it was already 20 pages in and I was freaking out cause I didn't even start yet. lol I know I'm weird for dreaming about the CD Ts.
"Can you imagine an imaginary menagerie manager imagining managing an imaginary menagerie?"I've had dreams about the CDTs before too, so it's not quite that unusual.
Icon by Civvi the Civilian!Nobody, technically, but I can have people pop up.
Nous restons ici.I'll be honest, I'm kinda relieved about the sweet time we're taking with Frontier (is that what we are calling it now?), cause I don't have a character yet.
While I do encourage that we actually work on it, I worry I won't be prepared by the time I'd like to start it (either a while before or just after my late August trip), so this delay is kind of a breather for me to prepare.
Note to self: Pick less edgy username next time.Cheers for that. I was mainly checking to see if there was anyone of note that they would see - I didn't want to snob anyone by ignoring their characters - I'll have them move out and on from there.
I got a bad headache yesterday which really impaired me. Now it's just a dull pain that can go away with painkillers really. I'll get to posting right away.
Life is hard, that's why no one survives.I'm back from my trip now. Not sure I'm going to really do anything in the way of a new thread today, but I'll work on it tomorrow.
Sorry for not having posted yet. I'm a bit annoyed right now, and I'm not sure what to do with Gev, but I can manage a post for Seon soon.
Good to hear you're back safely. How come you're annoyed? If that's not too personal a question.

Does our sparring area always *have* to be an Arena? Every time we make such an area, it's always an arena of some sorts. I kinda would like to have something new, even if it's a bit more abstract.
"Life is eternal; and love is immortal; and death is only a horizon; and a horizon is nothing save the limit of our sight." - R. W. RaymondWhy do we need a designated sparring area at all? Can't characters who want to do so just find an isolated area in which to do it?
This. So much.
"Take it outside, guys" should be sufficient, no need for a formalised area. If a couple of characters want to hold a sparring match with/without an audience, there's probably plenty of places in the environs where they could do so without endangering the neighbours.
Back from mini-vacation and posted for everyone. =D
