@Elfhunter: Most of them don't even have words on them by virtue of being paintings (apart from the artist's signature in the lower right-hand corner), but the ones that do can be assumed to still have Japanese text like the stall's sign (unless you want the universal translator thing to remedy that).
As to what's on them; they're mostly depictions of events or characters in Japanese mythology. However, not even I'm sure what's on all of the rolled-up ones (I was planning on making it up as I go), so you're probably better off just picking one and going from there.
Icon by Civvi the Civilian!Because of an unfortunate accident, I (temporarily) lost use of my left hand. I won't be able to post until this weekend.
Because I apparently have no life, I've just finished archiving literally every post I ever made in the CDTs, from Titanic to Inn. About half of them were in Resort.
There's no actual reason I'm sharing this, I just thought it was interesting. Going to get back to prepping for Fair and drafting that Halloween thread proposal now.
Shit, man, sorry to hear that. Hope you get better soon.
If I knew how I know everything I know, I'd only be able to know half as much because my brain would be clogged up with where I know it fromOuch; you have my best wishes. Get well soon.
I think under those circumstances you shouldn't feel you have to inform us, for reference of anyone else.
Just drop out and get back when you can, man. (Or woman?)

Nous restons ici. It's not as severe as you might think, no broken bones; the nerves and tendons just got screwy from a bad fall (considering the height, this is a fortunate outcome), which translates to some serious pain at my joints every time it moved. It'll last a week, maybe. Thanks for the support, though.
For reference, I'm a guy.
Hope it gets better, Cotton; make sure to rest.
Anyways, things have finally slowed down for me, so I'll try entering Worlds' Fair tomorrow at school during my four hours of nothing. I'm going to hold off on Matthias for a bit, so I'll be starting off with Iris, who I think would benefit from a run where she's on her own and enjoying herself and not 'working undercover' for Vince. (I still sort of want her to meet a monarch or some other high-standing politician so they can butt heads, but that would be unlikely at a place as crowded as the Worlds' Fair.)
Anyone want to take a cynical, millennia-old retired servant with strong opinions on the state of modern society?
"Jack, you have debauched my sloth."@Flowing Cotton: Get well soon!

Danger: Intense gravimetric distortions nearby. Please reverse the polarity on your deflectors now.Get well soon Cotton!
yeyYikes, sounds a little scary, at least for someone who has mostly avoided major injury for most of his life. Good luck on the recovery.
every little word and every little stepGet well soon, Cotton!
Meanwhile, I have no idea when I'm going to be able to post again in the Worlds' Fair thread. I've got a trip coming up in November, and I've discovered that I'll need to renew my passport beforehand, and it turns out that's actually a pain in the ass to do, so I've had to devote some time that might otherwise have been free to tackling that, and my Thursdays are usually busy... *growls in frustration*
Hopefully, I'll be able to do something on Friday.

By now, it should be clear to all except the most dense of us that sheep are secretly conspiring to kill us all and steal our pants.I dunno when I'll be posting in Worlds' Fair after all. I've been pal-ing out with my friend all week, and that'll probably continue into the weekend. Between that and a slightly heftier class load this year, I haven't had much energy or motivation to join, and I've decided not to force it.
Best estimate for when I will join is this time next week. That's when my load will be alleviated to some slight extent, my friend will be heading north, and I'll get bored again.
every little word and every little stepUgh, passport work is horrible, at least over here. Hope it doesn't end up being too much of a hassle for you.
If I knew how I know everything I know, I'd only be able to know half as much because my brain would be clogged up with where I know it from@Night: I have no clue how to proceed from this point.
EDIT: I think I'm also going to go back and edit my previous courtyard post. It doesn't make sense in light of my current post.

If I knew how I know everything I know, I'd only be able to know half as much because my brain would be clogged up with where I know it fromGet well soon, Cotton. However, I think I might move Rosa on if she's trapped in a week-long hiatus. Don't worry, in the words of Ahnuld, "I'll be back."
Forward, boys! For God's sake, forward!@Cotton: Oh, right. If it's night time in-thread before you come back, I'll just move Leo out of the house of horrors. Just get lots of rest.
If I knew how I know everything I know, I'd only be able to know half as much because my brain would be clogged up with where I know it fromA deep, deep, deep apology for my near week long absence. I was hospitalized for a while and did not have electronic access during that time. I haven't checked up on World's Fair yet, so any suggestions on how to get back into the threads as soon as I can be is appreciated.
Note to self: Pick less edgy username next time.@Elfhunter: Well, if you're done, don't hang around. Just move on.
Nous restons ici.As far as anyone with idle roaming characters goes, according to my notes both maxwellelvis and m8e have booths in the Market Hall without anyone currently present.
I mean, I was interacting with Lord Greyjoy's characters if Greyjoy is still around.
Note to self: Pick less edgy username next time. They are, but they went over to a different group of people in the courtyard.
@ Elfhunter- can't recall, is the Adelphos in the courtyard the one with the zombie squirrel? If it is, that will definitely trigger a response from Rosa. In her world, necromancy is a capital offense. Then again, it might be interesting to figure out how'd she react to a person who deals in something that's despised where she's from.
Forward, boys! For God's sake, forward!
Oh goddamn it, I was waiting to take that post. *Sigh* Now, I have to wait for another 10,000.
EDIT: I cannot for the life of me formulate anything cohesive to reply to KC. I'm going to try again in the morning.
