Also, I'm probably not going to add trope lists of my characters in the CDT Characters page because most of the tropes I've so far compiled for my characters are like if the story I'm working on had a TV Tropes page, and thus are not really suitable to the character page—more like my profile.

I should be able to get back into Dig Site (and Cruise, if and when either Night or Elfhunter posts there again) tomorrow. It looks like I haven't missed much, although I'm wondering if the thread is getting overly focused on Marion.

Oh, I think that'll die down once we've gotten a little more underway.

Personally, I'm not that interested in keeping the thread going if no one else is (and frankly, I think it wasn't all that healthy even before posting slowed to a crawl).

I also really want to approach Oku and give him a lengthy exposition about the UN, but that's the Exposition Girl in me acting up—It's not really in the personalities of my characters to info-dump.

Well... don't. I mean, don't give Okul a lengthy exposition on the UN, because he didn't actually ask about it.

Also, yes, there is a loose continuity between CDTs. You can choose how much or to what extent your characters remember events for the purposes of building character dynamics, or you can make it All Just a Dream from your character's perspective. It's also considered acceptable to bring back characters even if they died, but in that case, other characters who were present to see them die or even did the deed themselves shouldn't go 'HOLY SHIT YOU CAME BACK FROM THE DEAD' or similar.

@Yomegami: Personally, while I'm not finding Cruise that compelling in its own right, I am finding it useful as a "safe" environment to build character voice in.

x5 Of course I'm not going to give exposition—I'm not dumb. It's just a personal wish.

Darkblood, are you still around? It's not exactly fun writing posts that don't really do anything except "Character A walks to Location B while Character C initiates Evil Plan D." Haruka isn't really doing anything interesting, and Cain has no reason to go back to Marion to repeat his offer to her yet. (But will if the offer is lost to our laboriously typed words.)

umm...I'm not good with numbers, so I'd like you guys to tell me: Would you consider 3 healing potions at 1 ounce of gold as costly (they cure any recent physiological damage)?

If I knew how I know everything I know, I'd only be able to know half as much because my brain would be clogged up with where I know it from

Given that the price of gold is now about $1800 per ounce... it depends. How common are they? If they're rare, that might be a bargain.

They're easy to make but procuring the ingredients for the potion is difficult. $1800 for 3 is still a bit too pricy though...I guess $1800 for 9 should be okay, I guess.
