Character Development Thread--Discussion

The second I get time to sit down to finish my post, it's late. I'll try for a release in the morning. No promises, but tomorrow for sure...

I was planing for Caleb to end up in San Francisco, but there's been little activity there lately. Have any of that group dropped out?

I think we're waiting on Mrship21. I could separate Moreena from the others (by having her get distracted by more visions maybe...) and have her meet up with Caleb though. Splitting the group a bit might speed things up.

...So, uh...slow day?

Update: My mobile service in this area somehow got worse than it was last year, so post frequency will be impacted a bit. However, there's a bar in walking distance with Wi-Fi. So it's just a matter of walking here once or twice a day to get updated and post.

I'll work on something tonight and post when possible.

I've posted in dream. Sorry it's so short I'm having trouble coming up with stuff right now. I'm open to what ever.

If he doesn't post tomorrow I'll go ahead and do so for Irina's part, though I like getting the whole thing out.

Kinda wondering what the deal is with the rest of the Frontier folks

On a semi related note, I had the pleasure of waltzing through a very real sandstorm the other night. Followed by a loud as hell lightning storm that kept me up until four. Lots of fun.

Sounds exciting... And/or frightening.

Also, speaking of Frontier, what's holding up the Valley of the Dead God? It's not me, is it?

Well, KC posted for it last, about a week ago, responding to Savlamar. Sav and Snowy are busy with meatspace stuff, so I guess you or Eterna could post in the meantime? I'd ask KC first.

As for me, I haven't posted for Frontier because Snowy's busy, and she's running the Temple plotline.

I'm still here. I just fell into the weird part of You Tube for a while.

I'm waiting on ladytanuki for Frontier, and Snowy for Dream, and I think both have already said that they'd be busy, so I'm not too concerned.

My internet is super wonky right now so I don't know when I'll post. Hopefully that'll be resolved soon.

Edit: I have a connection now but we still gotta fix a wifi.

Yeah, I was busy at work, but I did have time to catch up in Frontier last night... and of course the post had to be a long one (in three parts too) such that I didn't have time to do a Dream II post. And for some reason I had Zuri and Yamiko become emotional at the same time, both due to anxiety over how others perceive them. Maybe Yamiko's telepathy can subconsciously influence others over a distance. XD

And it was a good thing that I had been doing some world-building for Orenya lately (which reminds me, I'm STILL behind on World Building June), for I had written about the planet's history, and thus I just had Nemaforte give an abbreviated version to Iraal, after applying some phlebotinum to make her know about it.

Expect a Dream II post later tonight.

@Will: Not sure Ross would have been able to hear what Hana's paying Chelsea. The conversation was a short distance away and in hushed tones.

Well, looks like I won't be posting in Dream II today after all - got a last-minute request for work to do on my job. Maybe tomorrow night...

So that lightning storm i mentioned started a wildfire on the edge of the (Colorado) river. They're just letting it burn, since I suppose it was natural and is surrounded by water and desert and not really endangering anyone. Got to see it firsthand yesterday. Crazy being under so much smoke.

Here where I live it's been raining ash every day for weeks. I can't wait until winter ends and it starts raining again.

If at least there were mists so I could prentend I was on pre-Catecendre Scadrial...

Wait, what am I talking about? That was an horrible place to be.

The only fire where I'm living is the sun.

Anyway, sorry for not having posted in Frontier yet. I'm trying to decide on a particular point.

In seriousness that sounds really dangerous. You got back to wherever you're staying at safely, right?

I've been working in an office all summer, so the weather doesn't really hold much meaning for me anymore. :P

Of course. It wasn't dangerous at all really. We went near it intentionally to get up river, and when I say near, I mean hundreds of feet away but close enough to see the flames. It was smoky, but the thick stuff (enough to make the sun look blood red) was blown way over our heads and we didn't spend any unnecessary time pushing through.

Three days left. I hope I get the chance to write more than just once before I'm back home.
