So uh...semi good news.

Good news: Turns out summer semester starts in June and its mercifully short, so I won't be so busy in May after all.

Bad news: I'm still gonna suffer cause I hate math lol.

Yeah, the typical summer semester is only eight weeks and starts in June, so you're done by the first week of August. Mine starts May 16th and has to be twelve weeks long- it coincides with the nurses' summer semester -because of how co-ops interact with the definition of 'full-time student'.

Also, I'll shoot for posting in Dream tomorrow after my afternoon class.

I'm going to post in Dream a little later, but right now I'm filled with an absolute seething rage and can't really write.

May be entering a slow few days. I need to get ahead on some schoolwork in order to prep for a busy weekend. Of course, I'll try to fit the CDTs in as always.

[up][up] @nrjxll: I am not a native english speaker, so after reading your Mazra post I must ask: what does "sophont" mean?

[up][up] "Self-aware" or "sapient", pretty much. Some sci-fi writers use it to distinguish "people" aliens or AIs from "animal" aliens or machines. (Technically speaking, the aliens would still be animals, but I hope you get the idea.)

Oops. [nja]

@nrjxll: sorry to hear that something's gone that badly. Hope it gets resolved soon.

Went out for dinner so it's too late (well, early morning, actually) to write anything.

Tomorrow night I'll be going out so won't be able to post unless it's quite late (local time).

I'm more tired/out-of-it than I thought and I don't have any obligations until next Monday, so I'm pushing my Dream post off until tomorrow and going to bed early. Hope you feel better soon, Nrj, I'll see you guys in 12 hours.

[up]I am waiting for myself in Dream. I feel kinda tired because of college and may not post until the weekend.

No idea about Frontier.

I am working on a Dream post, just slowly. Was feeling super-lazy today, not necessarily tired. And I was procrastinating pretty hard on critiquing my sister's paper.

Also found out that I'm apparently coming with my dad to Columbus tomorrow so that our family can sit around at the Ohio Troopers Coalition building-place while he signs some retirement papers. That's a three-hour drive and my mom and sister were talking about checking out some colleges down there, so... dunno when I'll be able to post.

And this kind of doesn't have anything to do with the threads at all, but on Tuesday morning, I took a final for my Operating Systems class- it was open-note, open-book, and e-books were allowed. I very strongly considered posting here to tell you guys that I was in the middle of a final, and thus was able to do this because my professor is fucking lazy and doesn't want to put any effort into teaching, but doesn't hate us enough to want our GPAs to suffer for his laziness. I may do that when I take my Statics final on Monday, since I found out yesterday that our professor for that class (who isn't lazy, but is rude and probably not that tech-savvy) doesn't care if we use an e-book version of the required text on the final.

EDIT: There. Finally done.

@nrjxll: Not waiting on you in Frontier; waiting on ladytanuki.

And others are waiting on me for the Temple groups. Will be working on a post for that later today, all going well - went to see Captain America: Civil War 3D with my boys last night so couldn't post then.

Ryuzha: Again, deeply apologize for the week+ of not posting. Had my final exam yesterday, and I'm preparing to do National Registry for Emergency Medical Techinician (Basic-level). Passing the exam and practicals means that I will be certified and be able to apply for a license to practice in my state, and thus be able to work as an EMT.

I tried to make a larger post to make up for lost time and speed things along. I also made the creative decision not to have the thunderstorm come into account due to the fact that Hazel's and Rip's conversation should not have taken several hours.

I don't know how you feel about that, Ryuzha, so if you have some objections I'll be willing to edit.

(I'd also like to point out that Hazel has not introduced herself to Rip. Rip doesn't even know her name.)

Also I'd be cool to do Roll 20, it's just that for the next two-ish weeks, I'm going to be busy with exams and studying. I'm rather nervous about this.

I've been neglecting Half for a while I plan to correct this later tonight.

You say I am loved, when I don’t feel a thing. You say I am strong, when I think I am weak. You say I am held, when I am falling short.

Sorry for not having posted. Like I said, busy weekend, but the bulk of my homework is out of the way. Plans to go see a film and hang out with some friends tomorrow, but if I find myself awake and of the right sort of mind before that happens, I might at least start on a post.

I couldn't post yesterday 'cause I saw the new Capt. America movie late at night (it was pretty good btw), and also I lost my phone somewhere. I hope it wasn't in the theater....

Hope you enjoyed the movie and that you find your phone soon.

Working on a Frontier post. I dont really have anything for Cyrus and Kito to do for the time being, but I might have them comment on current happenings.

I forgot to go check the bulletin board to see if I got into the short fiction workshop and they refuse to answer questions online or over the phone so I had to make the 45 minute drive back to school to find out that I'm the last person on a short waitlist. Considering that I have next to no experience with short stories as a form and submitted a piece that was probably downright confusing to anyone not familiar with Entropy, despite some editing, I guess that's not too bad. I did try to prepare a "proper" short story but didn't have time to finish in between the other stuff going on at the end of the semester.

Haha, very funny.

I found it by the way, it was in my older sister's car. She took me to see the movie, so. I'm glad I got it out before she left for her college.
