Character Development Thread--Discussion

I'm probably going to have to hold off on posting until tomorrow. It's getting late.

Also, my actual idea wasn't going to be anything Mazra did - it was to have part of the front wall spontaneously vanish (without actually affecting the stability of the barn), partially as a way of reemphasizing the dream nature of the landscape and partially just because it's getting to be a pain figuring how much Mazra can see outside otherwise.

Is there going to be a shoot out in the lobby?

I mean, Samuel doesn't have a weapon, and Todd hasn't raised his... Yet. I just hope it doesn't get blown out of proportion as Wolf has a bunch of characters.

Strange things are afoot.

No post from me tonight I think. Too sleepy, and it's better if I let myself sleep at this time.

Don't worry, none of them are inherently gung-ho.

I also figured that in a Frontier town, the hotel staff would have precautions against "unruly behaviour" - and would be advised not to shoot the guests unless absolutely necessary.

Ball's back in Todd's court...

I'm still here I swear. Just at a lose of what to do with Fawn though I suppose she may just go with everyone (it's not like she has anywhere else to go, and it's a chance to film cool stuff. lol).

Waiting on gameknight for Frontier. If a shootout happens in the dining room, Trinity will probably intervene even without her exo-skeleton. Chisa may help as well.

I'll post later tonight. I'm not feeling super well so I'm going to lay down.

I've been feeling sick recently, so I probably won't make a post in Dream 2 today. I'll try to make one tomorrow though.

Yeah, I'm feeling pretty under the weather, too.

Me three - although somehow I just posted in Frontier regardless. Pretty easy to do in my case because A) my cold is not too severe, and B) I'm lounging comfortably on a couch with a laptop on my lap and a cat next to me trying to play with the cough drops lying around.

@Killer Clowns: Huh, I was hoping someone would visit Misery Manor, even though my other characters are headed that way. Gabe sounds really interesting, not to mention the polar opposite of Sinistrina (at least at first glance). I don't have to post in Dream II right this minute as I have to take my other cat to the vet, but I will post when I get back.

Ooooh boy. Looks like I got a big post coming up. But first I need to do some math homework. If the post isn't done by tonight, tomorrow morning for sure.

...Also, I think once I'm done with the plots for Frontier, I'll be dropping out of the CD Ts. I don't know if I'll be back at summer, for the thread after Dream II, or even in a long time. College is coming up, and I'm gonna start looking for places to work. Life's gonna get busy and I don't want to drag other people down when I don't have time.

Finally done with 9 days of hell, should get 16 hours of time-and-a-half pay though which would be well worth it.

Also finished Legend of Korra which is one of those odd shows that I didn't like very much at the beginning but reading about it and re watching I'm enjoying much more.

Frontier post also up and for dream unless someone actually prompts Ulf for interaction I'll stay out of it. I have way too many writing projects I'm trying to do at once and Dream doesn't really seem like my cup of tea anyway.

Well, I turned in my essay, but I have to study for a Chinese unit test now... I want to say I'm going to start a post tomorrow, but don't be surprised if I just pass out as soon as I get home.

Just moved Todd, Katya, Gwion, Alpha, Wolfe and Kris into the lobby on the Frontier page for the duration of the scene and edited the Mad Bastards' entries for ease of breaking them up into separate groups.

Updated the locations in Frontier some more.

Wolf, can you clarify which of your characters need somewhere to go (and who's sitting at what table)?

Anyone willing to interact with my girls at the park?

I've tried to distinguish the sub-groups in the Dining Room that I could find by putting blank lines between groups.

But apparently, it's not very visible...

@nrjxll: Teri, Wolfe and Gwion are going to team up with Katya to go to the forest and would welcome/benefit from other travelling companions.

James, Kris and Kaitlyn (the elf with the enhanced eyesight and hearing) are going to form the core of another group, Karl, Peggy and Finn (the flamboyant Irish "Warrior Rocker") will form the third group.

One of those groups is looking to head to the badlands/"Painted Desert" and the other to the scrubby desert - doesn't matter which one goes where - and both of those groups need travelling companions.

Sophia/Alpha (the punk-styled woman with enhanced eyesight): I don't know where she's going, could attach her to any group depending on what happens.

Currently, Gwion, Sophia, Wolfe and Kris are in the foyer; Teri, Karl, Peggy and James are at one table in the dining room with Vic (not sure what electronic-tragedy has planned for him) and Kaitlyn and Finn are at the neighbouring table.

Edit: just read the Frontier thread. Will be moving Gwion, Sophia etc back to the tables and Vic's moved on.

Ok, Amy and Maya are in town, recording Rip on their phone. John and James (not Mad Bastards James) are in the lobby and John is upset cause he thought he was gonna lose his fiance and James is checking on Samuel.

Uh...that's it for my characters.
