So my computer is now definitely confirmed as toast. It's actually something of a relief, since my data is all backed up and now I can buy a new one with a clean conscience. Posting will continue to be sluggish, though, since I'm still stuck using my phone for it.

Edit: Just managed to get the computer to start in Safe Mode again. So it's not quite bricked just yet, and I'll try posting from it today, but I'm still going to have to get a new one ASAP.

On the subject of character RPG classes: I really wouldn't call Saya a rogue; her personality and skills really don't match up. If anything I'd call her a bard as well (albeit a different sort from Lia).

Will probably post in Frontier by the end of the night, although I'm also sort of waiting on In An Odder Way.

My post for Buso and the guy with the rock might come a little late. The writerly juices just aren't flowing right now.

I wasn't exactly sure where to go from here, because I'm not entirely sure what the rules are on various npcs.

My internet/WIFI is slow and exceptionally terrible tonight. I doubt I'll get a post out of Frontier.

I just think it's funny that Lara, Eliza and Moreena—to an extent—are all adopted.

What were you thinking about doing?

Having your character ask a NPC about something (e.g. what Tempest Knight did in Kiyoshi's post), writing the general reaction of a crowd (e.g. "the crowd stared and muttered amongst themselves), or just creating a named NPC for some purpose (e.g. what a number of people have done in the past) are all generally considered okay. Not sure about anything more than that, though.

Apparently I just had to sleep for a really long time. About those posts then...

Tomorrow's going to be pretty busy for me (have a doctor's appointment in the morning and another obligation later that day, possibly), so my activity's going to suffer as a result.

By the way, Corvidae and Gault, make sure to let me know if I'm not leaving enough room for your characters to respond here. I don't want this to just turn into Qrlil deluging them with exposition while they say nothing.

Just wanted to make one thing clear, Wolf, when Howell said "someone else" he was introducing himself, not regarding James as "someone else". Maybe you got that already, and your response can stand either way, I just wanted to make sure since my post wasn't too detailed.

Yeah, I got that - as did "Kris": she's offended that Howell did not introduce himself properly and she's seeing it as deliberate rudeness. That means she's now viewing everything he's said so far as "rudeness".
