These are some things I've had typed up for a while. I don't plan to officially introduce either of these characters anytime soon, but this is here for now, I guess. So yeah.

Lucia's the girl who briefly appeared at the end of Kalos, Marcus is her twin brother.

I doubt I'll do anything with either for a looooong time. I have too many characters' personal arc-y things going on right now already.

Lucia

• Name: Lucia Vidal.
• Age: 17.
• Gender: Female.
• Appearance: My attempt at making her in the one thing.◊
• Ties to an organization: None.
• Place of origin: Slateport City, Hoenn.
• Bio: Lucia and Marcus' parents died when they were fairly young, leaving behind only two eggs. They spent half a year in an orphanage before running away to live in the streets. There, the eggs hatched. Lucia named the Togepi Jack, Marcus named the Beldum Telkes. Lucia spent all the time she could spare to train Jack. She quickly fell in love with the move Metronome, and decided that everything in the world was built around luck. She noticed that Metronome seemed to do exactly what she wanted it to almost all the time, and decided she had perfect luck. For a time, she was sure she was right. She managed to make enough money to buy a mansion for herself and her brother through gambling alone. One day, she lost in a one-on-one gamble to a man in a red coat, and ever since then, she hasn't had very much luck with anything. She slowly became more and more convinced that the red-coated man had somehow stolen her luck. She spends most of her time nowadays looking for that man in order to take her luck back.

• Bio: Jack is generally calm, cheerful, and patient. He doesn't particularly care for battling, and is generally fairly weak in general. He likes gambling almost as much as Lucia does.

Machamp

• Nickname: Two-Up.
• Gender: Female.
• Ability: No Guard.
• Bio: Two-Up is perpetually shy and nervous. She's somewhat fond of swimming, but not obsessed to Zeal's level. She often writes poetry in her free time.

Spinda

• Nickname: Bezique.
• Gender: Female.
• Ability: Own Tempo.
• Bio: Bezique is loud, hot-blooded, and believes she can do anything. This often gets her into trouble. She considers herself addicted to lemonade.

Avalugg

• Nickname: Chinchirorin.
• Gender: Female.
• Ability: Ice Body.
• Bio: Chinchirorin goes out of her way to try to befriend anyone she meets. She's extremely optimistic. She often pretends certain bad things aren't happening, much to the annoyance of some others.

Hitmontop

• Nickname: Keno.
• Gender: Male.
• Ability: Technician.
• Bio: Keno is generally fairly calm and collected. He is also extremely curious about plants. He has probably freaked out several Grass types because of his obsession.

Marcus

• Name: Marcus Vidal.
• Age: 17.
• Gender: Male.
• Appearance: My attempt at making him in the one thing.◊ (Note that the necklace is actually a flashdrive. The generator didn't have a good option for that, sadly.)
• Ties to an organization: None.
• Place of origin: Slateport City, Hoenn.
• Bio: Marcus is a self-proclaimed "Scientific Wizard", as he's a psychic who's obsessed with science. When things were desperate when Marcus and Lucia were growing up, Marcus occasionally used his psychic powers to help the two of them make money, but he tried to avoid doing so, as it made him feel like he was "cheating". To fit his "Scientific Wizard" persona, he randomly switches between using MAGIC and SCIENCE as universal excuses. There are two main sides to Marcus's personality. He's often cheerful and random, similar to Zeal when he's in a sillier mood. On the other hand, he's often very serious, cold, and brutally honest. Lucia and Marcus have a somewhat odd relationship. While Lucia is very fond of Marcus, Marcus can't stand Lucia half the time. He considers her quest to regain her luck utterly pointless, as luck is not something he feels someone could actually have stolen from them. Marcus is always trying to learn more about pretty much everything he can. At the very least, he devotes two hours each night to experiment with his psychic abilities, and another two hours to research whatever he's currently most interested in. About twice a week, he ends up spending a lot more time than that, and gets very little sleep as a result. Occasionally, he sleeps during the day instead to give himself more time at night.

Marcus's Mons

Metagross

• Nickname: Telkes.
• Gender: Mentally female.
• Ability: Clear Body.
• Bio: Telkes switches between being completely serious and being completely sarcastic so often that it's usually impossible to tell which she currently is. She is extremely protective of Marcus. It's her ultimate goal to read/watch/play/etc. every work of fiction ever written.

Smeargle

• Nickname: Zworykin.
• Gender: Male.
• Ability: Technician.
• Bio: Zworykin is constantly daydreaming. He's very good friends with Two-Up, and he often paints things based on her poetry. He also ships almost everyone he meets.

I'll probably end up tweaking minor things before I introduce them, though I'll probably just bring it up in the chat. I doubt I'll edit this post, except maybe to add actual descriptions of their appearances when I'm less lazy.

Oh, and note that the age seventeen thing applies to whenever I end up introducing them, not necessarily to right now.

Also, how many Jacks is that now? I can think of quite a few off the top of my head already.

Also, funny story that most people probably won't care about at all! Marcus' WIP name was Marcus. I thought that I might be able to find a better name, so I used an online name generator to give me more ideas. And it came up with Marcus. And I tried another one. Also Marcus. And then a third one, which, of course, also came up as Marcus. I decided either the internet really likes the name Marcus or it was trolling me. So yeah.

Er... any comments? Possibly? Like I said, I doubt I'll introduce them for a loooong time.

Sweet: The new character creator leans very heavily toward feminine appearances. As soon as you have long hair in it, your character looks like a girl.

I don't mind, because my only really significant male character is rather pretty himself.

That said, Sarah in that character creator apparently still looks fairly boyish to other people. Which is fine by me, I just don't see it. :P

I just realized something about Smash.

After yesterday's reveal debunked the latter half of the Gematsu leak, I was worried about the decreased likelihood of Shulk for a bit (and am still kinda sad Chrom got the shaft out of the three Awakening protags). However, I then realized we now have our options for new characters wide open!

Think about it. We could get chars popularly requested like K.Rool, or obscure ones like Chibi-Robo or Captain Syrup, or that Rayman trophy actually means something and we get a Ubisoft rep, or we get Shulk and/or Chorus Kids after all, WHO FUCKING KNOWS?! The possibilities are ,endless, and we should be happy for that!

So Wolf was right. We don't need leaks. And I'm looking forward to seeing exactly who we get come the game's release.

(And on a more serious note... I've been asking certain people what from the cleanup chat I should add to the Signup OP, but getting no answer. Could someone please tell me what I need to add, if anything?)

Sadly, until Friday, my post may be less frequent than they usually are. The reason being that me and my family are in the middle of moving to Florida and I will not have access to Wi Fi consistently until we reach my grandparents. Although we have a looooooong drive down and I have a mobile charger, so really who knows with me. I just won't be on the chat really. With that, life for me should be normal again in a few weeks.
