New Years works best for me, since it's the day before my Christmas break ends. I can tolerate slightly before or slightly after, though.

So is it exclusive to the characters listed, or...

It's not exclusive, but DS would probably need help with making a counterpart for them, especially if there's not a whole lot to go on.

I have quite a bit of leniency in when anything happens, mostly because I have a very, very long winter break. Also, because my internet is coming back soon.

Sorry for my super long absence...Musical season is picking up, so I'll be basically dead until Friday night. Then I'm on break.

I have completed all the examinations and am now free to RP!

So, reading the logs, I noticed this:

Reading this, I suddenly worry there will be a moratorium on ANYTHING even remotely dark in Kalos. Which... Kinda screws with multiple plans of mine. For the holidays it makes sense, but for Kalos I have some plans that need a dark moment or two.

So... could we please not go that far? Because I think TOO Light and Soft will essentially be the opposite problem.

It's pretty much impossible to completely avoid dark things anyway. Don't worry.

I agree with Umbraman.

Of course I don't have a problem with an occasional dark moment every now and again, and yes, going too far in the opposite direction results in the same problem. My PCs are hardly going to be happy bunnies at the beginning of Kalos, after all. But with the amount of villains in play, I'd just rather not have Orre 2: Electric Boogaloo. I doubt that's going to happen, of course, but considering that in the last two days we've had an ex-Cipher operative rather graphically beat someone to death and the Criminal(?) doing... something nasty, I suppose (the level of ambiguity in posts relating to him and his friends doesn't help matters) I'd rather be safe about things.

I'm hoping for at least a little darkness, but mostly as "shadows". As in, not completely focused on most of the time, but also not completely shoved aside.

Too much sugar induces diabetes, so yeah, some grim shades here and there is good.

Let's face it, there are going to be quite a few dark things happening in Kalos. Eskay would know - the Illusion Project are shaping up to oust Plasma as the Darkest (not to be confused with Evilest) Villainous Team. It doesn't help that I decided to throw an Axe-Crazy mass of split personalities into the mix.

Herbert: Ah, I get that. You just don't want a trend?

...I seriously hope Illusion doesn't end up darker than Plasma. I came up with them aiming to keep them lighter than what we've had.
