Diane, if not all three of my P Cs, will probably be there as well.

Speaking of Diane, I suggested that Ancestor!Diane would have been an assassin Ransei!Lina would have hired to assassinate Ransei!Umbra. The attempt wouldn't be successful, but the fact that she came extremely close to success and still escaped with her life will give her quite a reputation. Also, she may or may not be affiliated with an Ezio expy. She's open to be anyone else's ancestor too, so... Yeah.

Think I've figured out what my Ransei character's gonna be. Probably an expy of Sensei, except with perfect link with Skarmory (Best thing to fit a Battle Helicopter with... no, the irony is not lost on me).

Of course, as mentioned , I have to actually get involved more in the main arc first.

You weren't here for the discussion, but we agreed Perfect Links should be limited to one species of mon, just like in the actual game. So choose either Aerodactyl or Skarmory. And either way, it might be best if you wait until after you establish your main character more thoroughly before you decide on things like his ancestor. The Conquest arc won't be for... probably at least a month. You'll have plenty of time to work on your main character before he needs an ancestor.

So, we'll be heading back home tomorrow. Vacation has been nice, I guess, but I'm still having a bit of inner conflict on whether or not I want to keep participating in the RP. I have things I want to write, and things have been going a little better, I guess, but... I don't know, I still feel as if I've failed at the things I wanted to accomplish during this arc, namely giving all of my Pokemon a bit of screentime.

Not to mention I'm a bit unsure about whether or not I'll write the three new Pokemon DS will obtain early in the Kanjoh arc well enough, since at this point, I feel as if most of my characters either have no personality whatsoever, or that they have suffered a bit of Flanderization in some aspects.

So, um... Yeah. Maybe I'm just a bit out of practice writing for my RP characters, or something.

You may just need some time to get used to writing for them again. And maybe some practice R Ping with them might help?

Keep in mind, writing always feels shoddier when you're the one writing, because you know what you meant to accomplish and see all the mistakes. From the outside, however, I have always found your writing quite good.

DS, don't worry. You write perfectly well. If anything, it's because you don't write enough for them. All you need is a bit of time to get back in touch with those characters, if that's the term I'm looking for.

OK, this may seem like a copout or unnecessarily demanding to some of you, but...

I'm quitting PMD if we aren't out of it by the week before September 16, for the reason of Lina's birthday that day and Ammy's birthday three days later being springboards for character development stuff. As such, I will assume that anything still going on with my player characters or their mons will be time-shenaniganed. If you need to work out anything for that, please let me know. Thank you.

Finally home. :)

So, anyways, been thinking about some more of my plans, including a scene I've planned for the next Unova arc. I guess I can share this bit since it doesn't involve any spoilers for B/W 2:

Basically, I was thinking that DS, when her future Blitzle first starts to trust her and allows DS to pet her, that DS' Dimensional Scream might be triggered, and she'd have a vision where she briefly sees Melinda and the imprisoned Pokemon in Melinda's basement. Sounds good?

(for those not aware of who Melinda is, and can not access our other forum to find out, she's basically a Villain with Good Publicity who takes in homeless Pokemon, and then sells them to the highest bidder.)

If you want to join while PMD is winding down, then yes. Or you can wait until it is over to join, where you won't have to be a mon.

i think i'll wait xD being a Feebas was kinda boring anyway.

Though I'm hearing it's suffering from Arc Fatigue — it's longer than Reach and quite possibly than the Chrono Trigger challenge as well.

Hopefully we won't have anymore arcs that go on for this long.

Speaking of my future Blitzle, I can't seem to be able to decide on a name for her. Suggestions for what might fit? She is supposed to be a character that never speaks, instead using her body language to get her messages across. (haven't really decided on why she never talks, though) It takes her a bit of time to trust new people (possibly due to her experience with Melinda), and refuses to let anyone who hasn't already earned her trust pet her. She's quite a bit friendlier once she does warm up to you, and she is also a good listener.

Also, for another character of mine, I was wondering about Candida (my future Seel). She's supposed to be The Ditz, but I don't want to make her too stupid. I'm guessing she should at least have some knowledge on a few subjects, but what?
