Umm... stupid question here but... what are Battle Bonds exactly again? I vaguely remember there was something with a Greninja and Ash but I have no real idea about the specifics, sorry >_<

It's an Ability that causes Greninja to take on a more powerful form in battle akin to a pesudo-Mega Evolution. We decided that any Pokemon could get it in-RP with the right balance checks.

Yep. And it only triggers when the Mon faints another.
EDIT: And apparently the trainer and Pokemon almost become one, sharing pain and possibly view. According to this, at least.

A very nice music thing! Clever concept applied pretty well.
Also a heads up, I'm moving soon, possibly mid June possibly July 1st-ish, but either way I gotta start packing now so my thread and chat attention is gonna be even lower than usual untill we start unpacking. Though other than wrapping up the current Ludmillia scen I doubt that affects anyone but me.
Plus side though, Looks like I'll be close enough I can just drive over to that eclipse meet up in August! Or at least it gives me a way better chance than I'd have living where I'm at

The Pokémon Genius
Mostly a formality but I'm definitely not gonna be posting again until after I'm not working full time.
Also when I get back to it we're just going to assume the Chaos fight ended with it getting bored and running away because I can't respond to all the people who wanted to participate, I could handle Crow and Every and maybe Tagg but once it pushed into four, six, seven people I just could not keep up.
As well... honestly after all the Shards are dealt with I'm probably retiring anyhow. I'm always busy working or with school so I never have time, and when I do have time to RP, I have other things I want to do. As well... the J-Team is a story about a group of misfits in whacky adventures who always come out on top, and is of course a Slice of Life roleplay with action and epic elements. The kind of story I want to be a part of telling is one of heroes failing, being challenged, with over the top action and adventure and exploration. WAAPT... just isn't what I need as far as narrative goes.
So yeah, I'll try wrapping up the Shards stuff in September/August and then I'll be sticking around for the community but my posts will be reduced/limited to when someone specifically wants to do something with me.

HELLO EVERYONE!
I had a radical new idea for the next arc, and wanted to share it with you all.
CONQUEST: ROUND 2
The rough ideas we hashed out in the creative chat so far, for this proposal, is that it takes place 20 or so years after the previous arc - enough time for new characters, but also time for new faces to show up.
Possible major plotpoints include: a Fairy nation - either as invaders, or a fledgling nation in need of support/land.
Thoughts? Suggestions? Yea or nay?
I'd be happy for that! In fact, I might want to be the Fairy nation, whether invading or in need in help.
Due to how we handled the Fairy retcon, I dunno about the Fairy plot. We might need to work it out, but it's probably going to be either 'Fairies don't exist' or 'Fairies have always existed.' I might be able to get behind a 'Fairies existed for a bit then they stopped existing' if someone comes up with a good way to handle it, but otherwise not. Sorry.
EDIT: Oh, being more clear, I'm cool with plots relating to the Fairy type if others are, I just don't think doing a past 'they didn't exist now they do' comes off weird with the same thing happening 600 years or so later

How about "Fairies exist as long as Xerneas is active?" After all, we seemed to agree back in planning for Kalos that it was the re-awakening of Xerneas for the sake of Team Flare's nefarious scheme that returned the fairies to the world. Maybe Xerneas is active when Conquest 2 takes place, but goes to sleep at the end for whatever reason and condemns the poor Fairy Nation to a Downer Ending?
...as this probably indicates, I'm in favour of Conquest 2.

I don't particularly mind Conquest 2 eventually being a thing, but I don't know whether or not I'd participate. For a few reasons, but the number one reason is that I did so much with the first time around that I'm mostly stumped as to what to do with my characters a second time.
Of course, if all else fails I could just do time travel again. And/or an Okamiden arc.
Also, we'd need an arc to run cocurrent to it.

Oh, on the concurrent arc thing, I agree, but since it'd be concurrent, I'd argue we could start it as early as in the middle of the current Alola arc and it can end in the middle of next arc rather than trying to have one arc match the pace of another.
On Fairies, I'll probably go with whatever everyone else decides from here.

A part of me kind of wants a second Conquest arc to be more like 10 years after the original than the proposed 20ish years, because then I'd be able to have Violight under the control of a totally unprepared child warlord which seems fun to me, but I'm all for the idea whatever happens.

Red names are countries with no past Warlord to content with atm.
Etheria is the Fairy country.

EDIT:
I'd like to talk about Battle Bonds. What if we adapted the canon so some or maybe even all Pokemon can have Battle Bond forms? Perhaps one unique to each Mon, or one for each species. Or just a few species.
