I saw there was gonna be a reboot months ago on Tumblr, though would rather not get into context of how I saw it for reasons.

Me neither, though mainly due to the issues a certain reboot of another CN classic wound up suffering from leave me pretty leery.

Umbra basically took the words out of my mouth, now that I've had time to calm down. Let's hope they don't bring in writers whose resume DOESN'T include MAD TV.

So, I just posted the start of a sort of recap/exposition/foreshadowing thing.

It's kind of long (well, this first post isn't that long, but altogether this stuff is), but I'd recommend reading it if you're at all interested in Zeal's subplot. It should hopefully help a little bit to make things less of a confusing mess. Plus I'm not sure how comprehensible things will be in the future without reading it. I understand if you don't want to, though, of course.

I've finished writing them, so hopefully the parts won't be spread too far apart. There haven't been a whole lot of posts so far today, though, so if I'm avoiding double-posting, it might be a while.

Zeal: Send me a link I can look at later?

(I personally do think that Diancie and Hoopa are the Mew Archetypes of G6 even if they aren't perfect fits due to the lack of 100 cross the board stats as they and that Magearna is our Gen 7 Fae ala Victini since it's about the time we get a sneak peek Pokemon anyway and I'd highly doubt they'd introduce a brand new mon for just G6 game when they won't even patch in the ORAS Megas for XY because people are probably not gonna be too happy about that.)

And from what I've seen of the screenshots of the new PPG reboot, It leaves something to be desired at least in terms of art direction◊.

Other than bubbles dressing in a way that makes me think of hippie, it doesn't look much different than I remember from the original.

But I haven't watched CN at all for the past 4-ish years so I have no clue what the company is like anymore.

, especially since I've seen screens of Bubbles in a normal outfit, so unless its their heads being noticeably even more disproportianately larger than before I don't see how it looks foreboding artstyle wise, unless A. It's ridiculously nitpicky, or 1. You linked the wrong screen.

The way Bubbles is dressed is really funny to me for some reason.

It's not so much art itself, they captured the art-style on the girls fine. It's mainly how kinda empty and barren the backgrounds look and their decision to go with flats without much shading and from other screenshots the lumberjack character has obviously been a bigger model scaled down in flash◊ with thinner lines and all (not to mention the background/non PPG character designs are rather myeh)

If I can pick cheap flash shortcuts in a still, I get worried for overall quality.

Important notice: the server hosting the WAAPT forum is currently    offline   . I will try to transfer the forum and other remaining services to the other server as soon as I can, but it could be up to    24 hours   .

Reason: the old server has gotten to be a mess to maintain; I am currently unable to install an important security upgrade on it. As the goal was to eventually move everything off of it anyways, I'm electing to step up those plans rather than try to hack it into regular service again.

Hey, guys? I have a question regarding the fantasy mini-arc. Whenever we continue it, and the characters eventually manage to bring RP!DS back to her senses and return to the real world, will the parts with everyone having returned to the real world and looking after RP!DS for a few days or so to make sure she's okay also take part in the fantasy mini-arc thread on the other forum, since time shenaniganning these events in the main thread like we originally planned may seem a bit awkward at this point?
