Not really, they were based on what you were told in the lessons during the term before.
That's what I actually meant, the random quizzes that pop randomly on school days that later appear on the end-of-term tests.
I don't get it. Why change them when the answers will be given to you anyway?
...a little brother should belong to his older sister, right? - Orimura ChifuyuI don't recall them giving you the answers. And like I said before, it's a cultural thing, and assumes your already immersed in Japanese culture to answer stuff like how to write a certain word in a certain style and etc.
There was always one question you were never given a clue on in class aka a surprise question. But as for questions none of them changed except for a replacement of a Japanese language question with an English question that was along the same lines. The right answers did change numbers more than once though in P3 P 3 P and P4.
Us version: Hey MC, help me here. > Millennium (Yosuke +2 , Knowledge UP)

Mr. Hosoi: Which one of the following is NOT a free morpheme. ->Ionize (Knowledge UP)
JP Version
The Radical in the Kanji system, which is the one most frequently used? -> kusakammuri "Grass Radical" *2nd Choice (Knowledge UP)

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!I've watched all trailers so far.
I will watch it, though I wonder... Was that Rock? I'm not entirely sure, but he sounds similiar. Also, I can't help, but think that Nanako's seiyuu sounds... Uh, a little bit too mature.
About japanese version, I don't know the whole thing, but so far only Chie's voice sounds slightly better. Rise squeaks, MC doesn't have such power like in english, Yosuke, Kanji and Yukiko are ok, but simply worse than english counterparts. Teddie sounds as atrocious as always, though I do believe it was somewhat intentional. Haven't heard Naoto or S.Link characters.

Big GrahYes the MC (Daisuke Namikawa) is Rock in Black Lagoon as well as he is Frodo Baggins in Lord Of The Rings and Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars japanese dub.
Yosuke is Shikamaru in Naruto.
Chie is Yui Horie aka Naru in Love Hina.
Kanji is Tomokazu Seki, umm lets see he is Domon Kasshu in G Gundam, Sousuke Sagara in Full Metal Panic!, Meito 'Anime Tenchou' Anisawa in Lucky Star... etc AKA the anything badass.
Rise is Rie Kugimiya (need I go on?) in the most Anti-Tsundere role she has done.
Teddie Kappei Yamaguchi is would you believe he is Ranma, Inuyasha and L?...
Naoto is Romi Park Aka Shorty in FMA and Loran in Turn A Gundam
Yukiko is Ami Koshimizu

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Naoto as Romi Park...they better at least make a comment about her height once or twice, I mean, she's the shortest one in the team. I really would like to see her go "WHO ARE YOU CALLING SHORT?!" Oh, and RP would make this whole...hiding that gender thing a lot easier.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Yeah the voice didn't work very well in the english version as well as Bokukko does not translate into english in any way.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Whoa there, spoiler that trope.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Ummm thats reached It Was His Sled point now.... the Dull Surprise in effect, seriously the first line of character page is "Naoto Shirogane is a tomboyish girl whose appearance and mannerisms closely resemble that of Raidou Kuzunoha the 14th." (unnecessary spoiler for the nazis, which it is not present on the page.)

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!True. Still, if you ask me, I have no goddamned idea if we should spoiler this or not.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Meh, should we? I mean there's the trope page for Persona4. They'll be spoiled anyway.
...a little brother should belong to his older sister, right? - Orimura ChifuyuCome to think of it, that information about Naoto is spoilered everywhere....except on the character page. How odd.

I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.SPOILER EVERYTHING TO HAVE TO DO WITH NAOTO, DAMN IT. I was a latecomer to the game, went onto some random forum to find out whether I could have a harem, and SURPRISE SURPRISE, Naoto's name came up in harem-related discussions. At first I was like OMG GAY OPTION and then I realized that there was no way the game was going to do that. FML. So spoiler everything or I will hunt you down and flamethrower you slowly to death.
Also, I agree completely that Yukiko's Japanese voice is okay. However, that "okay" voice is far far better than the completely atrocious English dub for her voice. I wanted to punch the TV screen every time she talked. How does a voice actor like that even get WORK... Her Japanese voice gets across Yukiko's refined, gentle personality without it sounding completely fake. And her laughter/giggles sound actually adorkable instead of just plain annoying in the English version. I feel like the English voice actor was trying to imitate completely the Japanese voice actor's delivery, instead of taking the character and making it her own, like what Chie did.
I thought Teddy was very good in both English and Japanese dub - (when I say good, I mean "annoying" of course). As for Chie, her Japanese voice is more high-pitched, cute, and teenager-y while still having a strong attitude, while her English dub sounds more mature... twenties, perhaps? Both cases suit the character, though, so I guess it's a matter of personal preference or whatever version you heard first.
Naoto's English dub is barely above Yukiko in terms of acting. Also, as soon as she opened her mouth I was like wait what is that a boy or a girl why does he have a female voice actor? Strange casting choice for an American dubbing company. I did realize that she did some really strange, awkward pitch changes, but I didn't know that was to reflect the use of boku vs watashi. What I did feel that she was focusing way too much on "omg I have a pitch change now aaarrggghhh must make voice suuuuper low/high". You could totally tell she was thinking about her characterization while reciting lines, instead of actually BEING the character.
Whereas her Japanese voice is Romi Paku. Need I say more?
Nanako has one of the absolute best performances among the English female cast, and I would say that the Japanese voice actor is just as good, perhaps even better. Both Dojimas have perfect gruff policeman voices - can't really put one above the other.
As for Yosuke, though... I personally prefer the English version because he sounds hotter. The Japanese voice's nasal twang really doesn't do it for me.
Both Kanjis sound very masculine and tough, but the English version just naturally has a lower vocal register which makes him sound manlier. So, again, this is a case of "good" vs "better".
Japanese Rise IS squeaky, but so is English Rise. Not much difference, I think.
Overall, I feel that the English voice actors have a stronger male cast, while the Japanese voice actors have a stronger female cast. I really want to play the sub version though just because some of the voice acting in there is so horribly bad, most notably Yukiko and Naoto, whereas the Japanese voice acting are overall of more even quality, with no horribly bad or extremely good performances like in the English.
That's what I can tell from the Japanese clips available, anyway.

I'm actually looking forward to Rie Kugimiya's performance as Rise. I'd like to hear her non-Tsundere roles.

MAL || vndb || BlogAbout that, why do I have this feeling that I cannot quite rule out the possibility that maybe, just maybe, they (whoever that are) might deploy Character Derailment to make her a Tsundere?
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Pronoun Trouble will always be an issue with Naoto it's impossible to avoid calling her She or such. Calling her "him" won't work too since really she never really outright went "im a guy" it was completely up to the player to figure it out. As well as the fact it 100% failed in the English version so badly that when it came out in the reveal you thought that "wait my party members are idiots". You also really can't even bring up the characters name without spoiling something.
Naoto in a Seifuku though is worth it though... To bad Rise had the best gift.
Rise is as far from Tsundere as you can get... Perky, Flirty, Party Girl, Pop Idol. closest she gets is telling off her manager that she doesn't want to do the idol thing anymore, or her depression over being seen as a sex object and leaves the bizz.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!I know. Hence, Character Derailment. She wouldn't be that without using that trope.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Meh Tsundere isn't always required she played Nina Trinity in Gundam 00 and Tsukuyomi * in Negima for god sakes

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!
Yeah, the only other thing that I know was changed was the questions to most of the quizzes during the school segments.(Which honestly NEEDED to be changed for obvious cultural reasons.)
