It's a moot issue anyway, given that DC and WB ain't gonna do it. Most GL fans don't seem to mind that Earth's Space Sector has something like 5 or 6 Green Lanterns (all from Earth, too...what's up with that?). What we're likely to get is exactly what we have, continuing multiple Lanterns, with fans of this or that Lantern crying foul when their Lantern isn't the one getting attention. C'est la vie.

Yeah, it reminds me of the suggestion that made rounds a while back that Marvel make Peter Hispanic in Homecoming as a supposed way of including Miles in a way - which would ultimately do what is basically the opposite by cutting Miles as a character off entirely.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I want to see all lantenrs, this isnt the bat or super families were chararter are derives for another one so one need to remind central, they are a team and having a lot of lantern create a team dinamic, it pretty much write on itself.
One question here: what should be the tone of green lantern? like thor? guardians? black comedy like Suicide squad? I havent seen any green lantern story so I dont know what tone it should be.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"Seeing as the Green Lanterns are basically a galactic police force, I'd say the best tone for them would be that of a police procedural - maybe with a bit of buddy comedy thrown in. My friend actually suggested that staging a Green Lantern movie as a something akin to a western would work as well, with the Lanterns as lawmen trying to reign in a chaotic galaxy. His pitch was something along the lines of one of the Green Lanterns taking Larfleeze (the Orange Lantern, and my personal favorite character from the Lantern mythos) into custody to answer for his crimes and escorting him across the galaxy to stand trial, but is accosted by the Red Lanterns and other factions who all want Larfleeze dead for their own reasons, and it's just a space odyssey of trying to get to Point A to Point B while dealing with various factions and villains.
Best thing the Green Lantern movie can do is leave Earth behind and open up the cosmic realm more for DC; the less we see of Earth the better, I pray they don't make the same mistakes the Thor movies have made on that front.
"A king has no friends. Only subjects and enemies."While not quite the same thing, I remember Green Lantern: First Flight did something similar, playing much of the movie as an interstellar version of Training Day before the bigger and grander superhero battles came in towards the end.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Screw the Earth Lanterns. The Green Lantern movie needs to be about Ch'p.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Ch'p and Mogo. They fight crime.
In case anyone was worried/convinced that Zack Snyder is involved with anything regarding Justice League to any capacity at this point, he actually isn't.

He directed it. I think that counts as being involved.
I figured it would be one of two things, either he has stepped away for the reshoots but was still in contact with Whedon doing regular check-ins or he stepped away entirely so as to not give contradictory instructions to the production.
Not involved *anymore*. The article's just saying that Zak Snyder isn't coming back to put any finishing touches on the movie, from the sound of things.

Some people have seen Joss Whedon's cut of Justice League already.
However, they're not exactly allowed to say much about it like cameos, plot twists, and whatnot.
But apparently one person said, and I quote, "Ehhhh...it's....fine?"
So, we're going to have to make of that what we will...
I'm very suspect of social media reactions. Remember the early reports of people going absolutely gaga over Batman v. Superman at test/preview screenings:
Yeah. Pretty much everything in that paragraph barring Affleck being great pretty much turned out to be This Is Going to Be Huge / Hilarious in Hindsight.
So while the test screening could've gone fine, I'm gonna wait for something a little more concrete.

Oh, good point about the BvS advance screening.
Very good point...
well is not wrong or a least in that part, even people who dislike the movie like Ben batman and I havent see anyone saying anything bad about it, just question the whole "Batman must kill" storyline.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"I know. That's why I said the parts about affleck being praised were the only thing not ironic.
Remember that the standing ovation WB gave was for the Ultimate Cut, and it was confirmed that the 2 1/2 hour theatrical cut was ordered about three months before release, which means early reactions from test screenings are not clear on which version. I think we've also established that any news reports on twitter reactions right before release are not reliable either, it's easy to single the positive and ignore the negative, especially on a big enough movie where everyone is offering their opinion.
Here is one of the audition tapes for Shazam
The actor is Parker Young he was in Season 4 of Arrow as Alex Davis, Oliver's campaign manager and Thea's boyfriend.
The woman in the video is reading the lines of Freddy Freeman whom in the comics is Captain Marvel Jr/Shazam Jr.
The full audition tape is on Vimeo but it is password protected. It is only a week old so they are still casting for the role of Shazam.

Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre Adventurex5 People's expectations are probably more tempered this time around. I'm willing to trust the reactions if they're saying the movie is alright.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Flashpoint script has been turned into Warner Bros.
Lord and Miller are out of the running to direct because of ARTEMIS.
Robert Zemeckis is still being considered to direct but WB are still meeting with other directors, they're in no rush to make an announcement.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre Adventure
Actually no it doesn't. It also creates another problem by pissing off Hal fans who'd prefer him white and John fans who now have a minority character erased for a race-lifted white guy. This isn't even an Iron Fist situation where there "can be only one" there is an entire Green Lantern Corps and one is an established black man. There is zero reason to race lift Hal and attract unnecessary controversy.
