Plus that Gumball actually loved Penny not for her appearance, something which I got implications of Gumball being paired with Carrie for who happened to be a ghost girl until Penny broke out of her shell.
Darwin is dating Carrie now, yes?
So the bros. both got em'...
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.You read my mind when you said that was the only thing going for Gumball. I find him to easily be the funniest of all those characters. Like Jessica Rabbit said, "He makes me laugh".
Another thing I like about Gumball and Penny's relationship is how she likes him, crazy flaws and all, and even joins in on his antics every once in a while, rather than liking him despite his crazy flaws like the standard "goofball guy, sensible girl" relationship in cartoons and sitcoms (including Nicole and Richard).
It's such a small but noticebale breakaway from the textbook, plus it makes him and Penny feel more like birds of a feather.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. She definitely gets bothered by his ignorance...
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.I look away for one moment in this new episode and now Richard is Buffs Bunny.
When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your griefHe's the new protagonist of Jojo's Bizarre Adventures.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?If there's one issue I have a problem with this episode is that Nicole wasn't in it.
Seriously she should have been there to go gaga over Richard's new muscles & then as a gag whenever she tries to tell him off she inevitably trails off distracted & goes gaga again.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."That would have been more fun to see!
"We be we baby!"I love how this show has entire episodes mocking certain tropes. "The Void" was a great parody of Chuck Cunningham Syndrome and "The Finale" was great at mocking Negative Continuity. What I love about these episodes is that they actually have the characters go out and investigate why these tropes don't make sense. "Gravity Falls" and "Adventure Time" are once again, technically better shows, but never have I laughed harder and more consistently at any kid's show than this.
I'm actually eager to see what tropes they'll mock next. I was actually sad that they didn't do an episode about video game tropes...that is until they came out with "The Console". What genres/tropes are they going to make fun of next?
Nothing technically makes either of those better shows...
Entertainment is the quality judgement.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Exactly, Gumball has been loved all over for a reason. With the clashing of animation styles, gags, and loved by plenty international audiences; it had quite an impact for CN Europe's first show aired.
Also about new episodes all month... Well, it got extended to ONE MORE WEEK!

Granny Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.
But who/what would be Gumball's Stand?
When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your griefBen Bocquelet: Not squishy enough.
I was disappointed they didn't do anything making fun of Professional Wrestling. I recently finally got my hands on one of the comic books and guess what I found?
Seriously, it's like this franchise is tailor made to satisfy me.
This episode went from a parody of secret menu items to a parody of the fast food industry and back.
God I love this show.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Gumball and Darwin got sidetracked hardcore...like wow.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.If they had done a parody of Super Size Me then they would have won all my respects!
"We be we baby!"Uncle Mario?
I feel like Nintendo is gonna sue somebody.
Also, it's weird hearing Ocho's new voice.

Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?He got a new voice too? It sounded similar enough...
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.I think Ocho is a psychopath. O_O
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyThat's not saying much; this is Gumball you're talking about.

Your momma's so dumb she thinks oral sex means talking dirty.
Gumball had fewer obstacles that he couldn't do anything about: there was no age difference and the attraction was mutual from the start.
In fact, Wirt was in a similar situation, which also seemingly worked out for him.
