A coat rack?
So, I'm preparing to write a scene in which the protagonist (Sabrina), a princess who has been cursed into a different form and replaced, is attempting to get two of her ladies-in-waiting, Mala and Soni, alone with her. One of the conditions of the curse is that she's unable to say who she is or talk about her life, but there's juuuuust enough leeway for her to hint that "the princess" has been acting strange. Her plan is to use Mala and Soni, who are notorious gossips, to seed rumours and make people more open to the idea that she's been replaced.
Because Mala and Soni are both nobles(The secondborn children of the royal families of two different provinces, specifically), while Sabrina appears to be a common servant, I'm trying to come up with a reasonable lie that Sabrina could use to convince them to follow her somewhere. Notably, I'm looking for something that's unlikely to get back to the fake!Sabrina.
My only ideas so far are something about one of them receiving a gift or surprise, but that runs into the issues of A) Potentially getting back to the impostor and B) easily being too obviously a lie, making them less likely to trust, and therefore be usable by, Sabrina in the future.
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.I'll take plan b. Sorry for rushing th answer though so take this as a grain of salt.

MIAI uh. I hit 100 book sales. Holy shit.
Read my stories!Congrats mate
Congrats, Mr AHR!
Meanwhile, I just finished Draft 1 of my newest screenplay yesterday morning! I'm giving it some space for a few days, then tearing into it for Draft 2 so it'll be ready for critiques. (Which, by the way, you should respond to over here.)
Later today I'm going to submit one of my other screenplays to a Minnesota screenwriters' contest. The winner gets $10,000 and a staged reading, so fingers crossed!

Will anyone answer kegisak 's qusrion?
MIANot everyone is equipped to answer every question, and not everyone who can answer a particular question is paying attention. This is one case where I'm just not able to give a good answer.
In time, young troper, you too will learn patience.
Award-winning screenwriter. Directed some movies. Trying to earn a Creator page. I do feedback here.I also answered the question in another thread.
Read my stories! He has indeed. That said, not to downplay the usefulness of his advice nor to unduly push, I wouldn't object to any other advice on it. Multiple thoughts from multiple angles won't make the brainstorming process any harder, after all.
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.I was thinking of making a edutainment show about a group of bug warriors that protect garden from those who wish to harm it while also teaching you about bugs.
So how can I show the educational aspect of it so it would not just be mindless violence and what not.

MIAMy future writing plan has basically boiled down to: Find a couple of ideas that I'd kind of satisfied with writing and then throw darts to eliminate ideas until I find something to write.
Note to self: Pick less edgy username next time.had to fix it.
MIADoes anyone have suggestions for what to do if you are in the mood for writing but can't even freewrite? I've been driving myself crazy for weeks because my writing has pretty much dried up.
@ewolf2015
I'd look at how these bugs tend to react to natural threats and try to adapt them accordingly.
For example, take what happens if an ant colony starts to get flooded, then replace the water with unstoppable advancing enemy troops or something.
Probably not very useful advice, but what usually works for me is to read a short story/see a movie of one of your favorite genres.
Draft one of book 3 is done. blugh. Now I just need to do a shitton of editing and write more. The cycle never ends I tells ya
Read my stories!that's seems like good advice I guess. Maybe an actual flood?
Though I'm not sure how I'd make an episodes about taking down giant enemy crabs, bringing a blue morpho to a temple to heal a tree, or deal with a rouge drone he's wanted to cause a revolt against the queen bee, educational.
MIAThe queen bee just wants some nice makeup!

Read my stories! As boy. Any reviews yet.
MIAWhat's the book name?
The only good fanboy, is a redeemed fanboy.Does that mean book 2 is already in editing phase? Damn.
For a staff, maybe a standing lamp? For two sticks, the legs of a shattered piece of furniture would probably work as well.
