I say leave imageless unless we can find an RPG pic that shows a character casting such a spell and the resulting HP exchange.

Challenge accepted. This is just proof of concept: any of these panels can be excised, and I think that this version of just the last panel could work.

Agreed on the suggested MTG art not really fitting, either. I don't have an issue with the RPG collage pic.

I know THIS◊ image is animated, but I feel like if someone's good at taking a still image from the animation, it'd be a pretty good demonstration. Any takers?

I say we use the FF 6 drain images. Someone pointed out that the nubmers may be hard to read, so the caption can just be pointing out for their benefit.
