^ That doesn't illustrate the trope at all. It's not even related to the trope.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.The OP confuses me.
The one on the page isn't that great, but the OP suggestion is terrible.
Fight smart, not fair. The OP picture isn't this trope. At all. The current picture is fine.
Reaction Image RepositoryI want to use a Mario pic just so we can make a mushroom joke. Any good trippy/surreal levels that we could peruse for screenshots?
Rhymes with "Protracted."Chuck in some Dali.
The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman. Was that necessary?
Anyway, I'm working on it at the moment. Thinking more of his elephants, but now puzzled over how to crop it.
EDIT: Can't find any of the elephants in a sufficiently drug-trip-ish atmosphere. There's this one◊, but I don't think it works. Some other weirder ones have nudity, even if it's high art, I'd rather avoid it.

The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman. No, it wasn't necessary. Hardly anything I do is.
Splendid. At least we can agree on one thing, then.

The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman.I support the Dali images, and the one in the above post. Also, The◊ Neverhood◊ Chronicles◊.
This implies, quite correctly, that my mind is dark and damp and full of tiny translucent fish.Dali pics are definitely better than the current one. As to which one is the best, I don't know
Any of the Dalis will work, but I lean toward The Persistence of Time.
If we go with the Dali (an idea I like), the caption ought to be "This painting was made on Camembert cheese. Nothing more, and nothing less." Or something to that effect.
My vote goes to Dali as well.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Dali works best.
tumblrLooks like we've got enough of a consensus to replace the pic with one of Dali's works, now we just need to choose one. I'm still in favor of The Persistence of Time.
I am not sure about Dalis attitude towards drugs, are your sure that he didn't use them?
"I don't do drugs. I am drugs."
I'd guess that it would defeat the introspective nature of painting one's subconscious if you were on drugs. As I remember it, he would fall asleep holding his keys over a plate, and when he dropped his keys, he'd paint what he saw.
Persistence of Time is fine.
If you want to avoid potential confusion about Dali's possible or alleged drug use, there's a wide variety of Frank Zappa album covers that would probably get the idea across. There's no question that Frank was fiercely anti-drug, despite appearances to the contrary.

The third link's not working for me...the others are pretty good options.
Crown Description:
What Do You Mean It Wasnt Made On Drugs
The current picture for What Do You Mean, It Wasn't Made on Drugs? is strange, sure, but nothing about it really screams "drug trip", or conversely, that there WEREN'T drugs involved.
Well, that, and I really want to change it to this. But even if we don't use that one, I think we can do better.
