I got everyone I pulled out of Ground Zeroes.
Sure they're not really unique but that's like 20 dudes with B rank stats at a minimum.
It's awesome.
Oh really when?I gotta say, this game is extremely addictive. Like, I started playing it at around 9:30 last night, and before I knew it, it was 4:00 AM.
Also, Who here heard of this method for beating Quiet? I guess The Dev Team Thinks of Everything in this game.
This game is the apotheosis of awesome. Kojima's masterwork.
Which brings up a worry I've had for a while.
What with Konami's execrable treatment of him, what do we think Kojima's prospects are for continuing game development? I know he's often quoted as saying that every MGS game is the last MGS game, but now that he's in these dire straits, can he even make another? Does he own the IP or does that belong to Konami?
yeyI'm pretty sure Konami holds the IP, as well as the rights to the Fox Engine.
Honestly, even if this game is unsatisfactory with the ending, I wouldn't mind Kojima leaving games development and enjoying his money for the rest of his life. He's given us the best years of his life, and it's likely that MGS and ZOE are out of his hands now. A new IP would be kickass, totally, but after playing this last Metal Gear Solid I just want Kojima to be happy and comfortable for the rest of his life.
Just found the Love Will Tear Us Apart tape. It's in the Afghanistan Central Base Camp. The Final Countdown is at Qarya Sakhra Ee, and I found Take on Me at Yakho Oboo Supply Outpost. What other tapea have you guys found?

Come sail your ships around me, and burn your bridges down.Is it just me, or is there something about how this game is presented that makes you think this is what it would look like if Kojima got to make his own HBO series?
yeyIf you're talking about the credits in the main missions/episodes then you do have a point. I don't mind them altough I feel like they will get old at some point.

I started an online Side Op, and... ugh.
It's got another 10 hours (!) to go, and the payout is a measly 50,000 GMP. A mission with the same reward in the non-online Side Ops takes around 20 minutes.
And to speed this operation up, you can spend Mother Base coins! AKA virtual currency that you buy with your own damn money. So unless I want to shell out for another 86 coins, I have one Side Ops team instead of two. Great.
How do you even build FO Bs?
Come sail your ships around me, and burn your bridges down.So that's where Love Will Tear Us Apart is.
Been looking for that forever, it's probably my favorite track by Joy Division.
Found Maneater which made me happy but I can't for the life of me remember where it was.
Was in Afghanistan though.
Oh really when?On the lost mission: You know, I'm kinda relieved that 51st mission are bwing cut. Since, from what I heard, this mission pretty much turned upside down our opinion for Liquid.
This make all jokes about Liquid being Spoiled Brat become too much to stomach.

Not sure how getting pissed at being a clone and developing intense hatred for Big Boss/Venom Snake will magically change anything about Liquid since that is pretty much how he was from the start.
It also gave closure and a more clear explanation as to why Liquid carries so much hatred for Big Boss in the future. The current ending just paints it as more of a rivalry, with Liquid simply seeking to prove himself to Big Boss rather than surpass him by killing him.
Doing mission 20 and going through the dark and misty valley.
One of the guard's radios is playing the same radio loop from P.T.
Fuck. That. Shit.
Oh really when? You sure that was a gaurds radio?
In my case it was quite humming it the whole mission, I know it was her because whenever I would order her farther away it would stop, and when I got close it started again.
Why does that recording of the Russian with the stomach ache even exist??
i. hear. a. sound.Yeah, I sat there and listened to it loop a few times just to make sure.
Fuckin creepy.
Because Johnny.
Oh really when?Damnit, Johnny.
i. hear. a. sound.GODS DAMNIT.
Dont do mission 25 until you can sit down through mission 28 unless you WANT to loose 80 staff or more.
...
Not going to say why outside of spoiler text due to well spoilers for people not there... but this is an important warning.
Quarintine any one that knows Kikongo, no mater if it takes a half hour or more or you can end up like one guy that lost 267 people

Shit I was about to start 23.
I better hold off until tomorrow then.
Oh really when? Its finishing 25 that trigers it.
edited 4th Sep '15 11:19:12 PM by Imca
And 29 at least that cures it, not 28 like thought.
This sucks.
So you gotta do those 4 missions in a row or you're out like a fifth of your staff?
Oh really when?yes.
And even while your doing them, your staff are dieing.
edited 5th Sep '15 12:01:47 AM by Imca
...well crap. I wasn't doing too well on staff numbers in the first place, and now they're dying. Gr8.
Have you noticed any telling symptoms, Imca? I quarantined all my Troublemaker (Unsanitary) dudes, but people are still dying.
Read the spoilered text in your first post, will do that tomorrow.

Come sail your ships around me, and burn your bridges down.Right, just built my first FOB as part of the tutorial.
Now if shit goes bad and I fail to stop an intruder I'm not going to lose my Mother Base staff right? Or resources there?
Like what's my risk exactly?
Oh really when?
three unique charecters.
Yup.
