I like how the last two seasons and this season ended/will end the day before a halo game comes out.

Where is the last line in episode 20 from? I know it's in one of the Blood Gulch Chronicles episodes... is it from episode 100? Or am I thinking of the wrong thing? I wonder if they just took the audio from that season (they've probably still got the audio files and stuff) or if they rerecorded it.

[up] I want that to happen now.

Pretty sure that was what Tex/O'Malley said in the last episode right after they finally joined up again.

So yeah, it was from episode 100 then.

Has anyone else watched the new PSA? Voting Fever? I don't know why but I really like it. Though Sarge looked really weird. Like a painting of some sort. And I really like the "dancing", especially the ones going around in circles.

Today's episode:

THAT WAS AWESOME!!! It was exactly what I was hoping for. Totally amazing. Like episode 10 of season 8, but reversed.

I thought they said that Caboose would never be animated? Not that I don't like that scene, that bit is my favourite bit of this episode. Also, Tucker saving Grif and Wash saving Donut are awesome bits too. What did Wash say after he saved Donut?

All over, awesome episode and I like it.

That was an awesome episode. The bar has been raised pretty high for the finale next week. I wonder what the big twist will be, because you just know there will be one of some sort.

Personally, I'm really hoping Sigma somehow appears. He was revealed as the one responsible for the destruction of Project Freelance, but it just feels anticlimactic for that to have been the last we see of him.

^I'd like to know why you say that personally. We last saw him in full control of the Meta, throwing Carolina off the edge of a cliff after ripping her AI out of her head. was it overly flashy? No, but it left its mark all the same.

I just feel we didn't see enough of him in the past. Yes, we saw that he was ultimately the one responsible for Project Freelancers destruction, but there was no direct confrontation with him. Having him turn out to be alive in the present through some unknown means would be interesting.

Really, I just want to see more of him, because I think Elijah Wood has knocked it out of the park with him.

I saw the plot twist coming sadly.

Good episode though.

Holy crap. That was intense. I nearly cried.

Also, so many reveals and plot threads resolved. That bit with Captain Flowers being agent Florida was great.

... How do they do this? I've never seen any other series that actually handles a Kudzu Plot so completely. It's like nothing's allowed to happen that's not completely relevant for multiple reasons.

Wow, good ending, though I was hoping there would be more interaction between the Director and Church. Also was kinda hoping we'd see how Pilot 479er got sent to Freelancer Command (guess we'll chalk that up to Kicked Upstairs). Perhaps a deleted scene?

And not one but two twists, the Mysterious Blue Guy was Agent Florida, aka Blue Team leader Butch Flowers. I didn't expect that, that's both hilarious and awesome. And then we have the implications that Allison and the Director are Carolina's parents... That puts a lot of things into perspective.

Overall, I liked it and the season overall, but I hope this wasn't the series finale. I know they didn't say it was, but those end credits which they've never done, plus the fact they're doing a different machinima series (something they haven't done in a while) both make it seemed like one. I mean, I guess I can accept it as the ending, but I really would like to see the Reds and Blues with Wash and Carolina on last big mission especially with the Freelancer storyline closed. They did have Carolina establish a new mission for a possible Season 11 though so who knows?

Oh, and the preview for their new show was awesome. But game are they using for it?

This episode definately felt very final and ending-y, but according to Wikipedia, season 11 is coming next year. Good. I really enjoy Red vs. Blue, and I don't want it to end.

The new series coming looks bizarre, yet awesome. I don't think it's a machinima, though.

Just saw that. Thank goodness, because while I loved the Freelancer plot just fine, ending the series when the Blood Gulchers had their time divided to them would just feel off. As I said, it would better to see them on a big adventure with Carolina.

Besides, I just realized they still left a few plot points uncovered. We still didn't see what happened with the Insurrection, and we still don't know who C.T.-2 was working for back in Recreation. Plus there are still the Freelancers we haven't seen like Delaware, Maryland, Kansas, Rhode Island etc. who could all still be alive, as they never said all the Freelancers were killed by the Meta. So, there's still plenty of room here for possibly two more seasons.cool

It's not Machinima. It's just Monty Oum doing something awesome as usual. And something original for once. Anyone remember his pre-Haloid work?

As for the ending... Well, I'm glad we got some closure. I'm definitely giddy about more adventures but a year is a long time to wait.

[up] Unresolved plot points? A few. Like the massive alien invasion that the whole freelancer program was initially created as a reaction to.

The weird thing in this series was that it seemed like we saw all the major points for Project Freelancer, none of which involved fighting aliens. Which was, among other things, the Director's justification for what he did to Alpha.

That seems like the next present-day thread to follow, though. I feel like we never really got the whole story on the Tucker vs. C.T. vs. the aliens bit.

Great ending. Not to mention how it was similar to the season 8 ending, in a sense (Including the epilogue reprise). As for R.W.B.Y....It's possible they're storyteller references...Like R is Little Red Riding Hood and other names that coincide.

So does this mean we're finally done with the Freelancer detour and can get back to focusing on the Reds and Blues again?

Personally I would have been fine if this was their last season, I love Red Vs Blue and I really dont want it to become a Franchise Zombie. While I'm certainly excited for Season 11, I'd much rather see Red Vs Blue end next year on a satisfying high note, than have it peter out into obscurity ten years from now.

[up] Considering that project freelancer is what keeps the plot moving, probably not entirely. However the focus WILL be back on the good old Blood Gulch team.

Red Vs Blue won't die until Halo does I'm sure.

We sure RWBY is the series' actual name? In any case, the next girl that will be revealed is apparently snow white.

What, because I couldn't care less about their stupid Project Freelancer story? Because I'm unhappy with Red vs. Blue having entire episodes that are Rv B In Name Only as they try to shove another series into it and take time away from the real main characters? Because I have a problem with a comedy series called Red vs. Blue trying to give me dramatic episodes that are all about people who are neither part of the Reds nor part of the Blues?

Is that why?
