The Goblin King rules the Earth in the Bad Future.
Preview for tomorrow's Christmas special.
Wow, that's a lot of clips.
Im like the rest, I hate this show until the flash-venom episode were I consider they grow the beard: finally a spiderman show were flash is something diferent from a bully(and him as venom is quite a twist) he make a good use as venom(I never like eddy broke) and taskmaster...that is all....
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"I know I'm going to get flak for saying this, but in Spectular and the first Webb movie Flash develops past just being a bully. Also, from what I understand him and Peter become friends in the comics. While I do like them bringing Agent Venom in, the way they did it felt forced to me. If Peter himself came to the understanding that Flash and the symbiote could work without the "Perfect Host" angle it would have been better.
Actually him being Venom is NOT a twist. He already became Venom in the comic in recent years, and actually turned into an Ensemble Dark Horse because of it; so him becoming Venom here was just an attempt to capitalize on his success in the comic. Weither it's a good or bad thing, of course, is up to anyone's opinion.

If I may ask:
What do Adventure Time and My Little Pony have to do with Ultimate Spider-Man? That comes off as entirely detached from the thread.
And it comes off as incredibly insulting too. Aren't you the one who has told people to stop bashing on the current crop of Marvel animated fare? And here you are, bashing other shows and the people who watch them.
You can't force people to care.
Well I still like this show, though I haven't seen an episode since the Jessie crossover. Wasn't there another one with Amadeus Cho - or is that upcoming?
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Ok, I kinda watched Nightmare on Christmas. Figuring out what going on isnt hard what with villain name being in title and whatnot.
Shoulder angel and devil play larger role, first part takes place in classic Spidey cartoon... Looks like cartoon is embracing it wackier aspects (Hey, Spider-Ham and Squirrel Girl showed up. I shouldn't be surprised). Batman Brave and Bold it is not, but it works.
There is actually funny part where shoulder devil complaint that he can only say "heck". "This is against everything I stand for!"
One part from trailer bugs me though: Dream or not, Goblin King using Mjolnir feels stupid. It absolutely kills any credibility that sequence had.
Goblin King managing to take out every Avenger bar Hawkeye did it for me. Though that might be my underlying annoyance with It's a Wonderful Plot episodes in general.
I just want the original team to get some focus again. They've been so Out of Focus. I thought the Spider-verse saga was interesting, but it's getting to the point where I feel like the show is losing what little identity it had. The sheer number of guest star heroes really doesn't help, and they have been getting so much more focus that at this point it feels like the original team are the guest stars when they show up.
The Hulk has had more character development than Luke Cage has, after two and a half seasons. Seriously, count how many Hulk episodes there are over any of the "main" characters aside from Spidey. This sort of thing frustrates and baffles me. It's not a bad show, but it always seems like everything is just done because of marketing. The Avengers are more marketable than Spider-Man's team, so they shove the Avengers in wherever they can. Why couldn't we see Iron Fist or White Tiger's masks on display in Goblin's tower along with the Avenger's stuff? Spidey doesn't even say "This is for my friends" when he punches out Goblin in his Nightmare. The Avengers are more important. I hate it.
Iron Fist was my only reason I really started watching this show, but he's never in it. Sure, all the nods and obscure charcters and references are fine, but seriously, I can't really tell what direction it's going in, but maybe things will change now.
I liked the Shout-Out to the old school series with the way Pete was swinging.
Also, I'm surprised that there's an in-universe explanation for this version of the Costume (with the one he wears in near every other series being his old costume in this).
Every now and then, Ultimate Spiderman shows a sliver of potential, but I still feel it's only scratching the surface. The beard has grown in, but it's still not full and rich yet.
It will likely never fully set in, but I like this a bit more than I used to.

One Strip! One Strip!Has the episode with Spider-Man 2099 aired yet? Im interested in seeing how they handled him, paticularly what they do to his origin.
His origin wasn't addressed, and the artstyle for his universe was cringe-worthy, but otherwise he was handled pretty well. He didn't get a full episode, though.
The next episode (after Spider-Verse and Rampaging Rhino) is about Ant-Man.
It already aired in India.
Ultimate Spider-Man has (seemingly) been renewed for a 4th season.
Aaannnnd the tweet was removed.
Oh well, I got a picture of it on my tumblr as proof.

Wow, Spider-Girl from the Spider-Verse episodes is kind of a major jerk.
She's super-sexist. It's kind of hard to take someone like that seriously as Spider-whatever.
I'm not quite finished with the first season, but I think it's rather fun.
Every show has it's episodes, and I've read that (of course) it was vastly improved by the second season, and that the finale is a nice 'turning point'.
I'm a sucker for Spider-Man media. I'm one of those people who went and saw the Amazing Spider-Man (ahem. 1&2) just because it was another Spider-Man movie
