Cool. I liked the first movie and have been waiting for new information.
(V)(;,,;)(V)Cool, can't wait to see what happens.
<Insertbitchingcommenthere>.
Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.Silent Hill was one the best game movies, some liberties with the source material aside. They just need to reconcile the very vague ending of the first movie with where ever the sequel is going.
"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984Yes, but they generally don't have direct sequels either.
"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984Ah.
(V)(;,,;)(V)All I noticed in that article was the "Vincent, Heather, [and] Harry [and Rose]" part. I'm a bit confused as to what they're going to do about Harry, because, well...
We only know that they're in the movie. They might not be the main characters.
I hope they are though, a bit of a crush on Radha Mitchell

I'm kind of looking forward to it, even though I recently watched the first film and found it to be utterly tedious.
Never played one game lol, but obviously am aware of the series. I liked the adaption of the movie, it was handled more like a comic book movie, adding a tad bit of realism rather than just tossing in every element the fanbase knows. Though I hope their will be more focus on this... um dimension and its creatures.
Actually, they kinda did just toss in stuff from the games for no reason. Pyramid Head, Pyramid Head, he's now everywhere, Pyramid Head...
But yeah, the movie should try to make itself its own creature.

Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.In a sense it didn't overpower things, well at least from my view. The focus was a mother trying to find her daughter and they stuck with that even though the ending made me all sad. She didn't go all commando mom for the heck of it. As for the Pyramid Head character, hmm... well I say they needed an intimating mid boss block in there somewhere lol.

Let me take a crack at Pyramid Head. Alessa never knew her father, she only knows what a father should be. A father should be a protector, hence why Pyramid Head attacks the church people, vengeance for hurting Alessa, the second time he shows up, he attacks the girl that was attacking Alessa's mother (can't remember her name), he was protecting her mother, like a father might do.
He's faceless because she never knew her father, she doesn't know what he looks like. Sure, Pyramid Head was just put in the film, but he has meaning.

Malcolm McDowell and Carrie-Anne Moss have been cast.
Malcolm Mc Dowell!? I hope he has a major part in the film
Wasn't the first Silent hill movie somewhat decent?
^Yes.
(V)(;,,;)(V)CHRIST, that clown is messed up.
Malcolm McDowell?! Aw yiss!
Neal Cassady died for your sins!Silent Hill: Revelation 3D in theaters October 26
Cautiously optimistic, the Otherworld sequences in the first one were brilliant but the writing was kinda eeeeeeehhhh.....
Totally different team now, though.

Seriously, this is a huge relief for me, since I heard a while ago that the flick was pushed back to early two thousand and fucking thirteen. As far as I'm concerned, Silent Hill is my favorite game-based movies, and one of my favorite movies ever.
But I really need to see a trailer before I can judge the new movie. The first movie's trailer grabbed me instantly, probably because I recognized the music.
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencySo apparently they've done the unspeakable and turned Vincent into Heather's love interest.
