Hello Megan!

Alright, due to a req on the anon fic meme, I ended up making a fake tvtropes page for a fake tvshow called Hello Megan! on the Darth Wiki. It was suggested that I create a forum topic thing here to get help and stuff for it, which is cool, but I was also going to use it to plot out "episodes" and figure out what tropes to add. ^_^

So, yeah, here you go~ The next post is going to be all the major I was thinking of, but feel free to butt in.

Three things to note:

1. The series is supposedly being "written" by M'Gann, so things like Black Manta being Kaldur's father aren't added yet (though BM will be eventually) because Kaldur, and by extension, M'Gann doesn't know that yet.
2. Yes, I pilled the names out of my ass.
3. I'm incoporating the "ninja-boyfriend" "story line" from the YJ episode Bereft, and making it Hello Megan! canon. Except with mob bosses. Yeah...

Episode1:Arc 1

Megan Moss  ^*

moves from hicksville/Smallville/midle of nowhere to live with her Uncle Jonathan in Gotham City, where she enrolls in Gotham Academy. Very much "fish out of water" type scenario, like in all good high school shows. The first thing she does is get slammed into by GA's resident track star, who proceeds to flirt with her. A lot. (This is Will). He also helps her to her classes, and introduces her to his BFF Timothy. Luckily she's not the only new kid, since borrdy Colton from California's just been shoved into GA so he's out of the way of his father. She tries to befriend Colton, but is shut down. Recovering from the hurt, she meets Kay, who recently moved from Atlanta. Will tries to find her, meets Kay, and the three guys (Timothy=Will=Timothy, you have one, 98% chance you have the other) become BFF's, but Megan's still worried about Colton because "he looks so lonely".

Episode 2:Arc 1

While in home ec, Megan accidently screws her oven up, and has to use the ~*~one in the corner~*~ that no one ever uses as it's "broken". Megs fixes it, though, and tries to use. Turns out there's a good reason for that as there is a small drugs chache in the oven, and it's been hidden because the oven keeps breaking down, so eventually people said "screw this oven, we'll fix it in the summer". Colton's blamed for the drugs because he moved to Gotham to get away from his mother who was a drug dealer.

Episode 3:Arc 1

Dez, the school's resident rich kid drug dealer catches Megan after school, and threatens her for finding his stash. Megan defends herself as best as she can, but Dez is taller, stronger, and riding on a drug-induced ~*~wave~*~ where he doesn't feel any of the pain Megan's trying to inflict on him. Colton, feeling bad about being cruel to Megan when she was just trying to be nice comes by the school to try an apologize. While there he runs into Will he's freaking out about Megan going missing. Kay tries to convince Colton to help them, but he vanishes so Kay Will and Timothy look for her.

Episode 4:Arc 1

Will, Timothy, and Kay come upon Dez fighting Megan, and get him off of her. Instead of running, Megan pulls out her phone and records everything as Timothy convinces a drug-fueled Dez to admit to everything. Dez instead tries to run, but Colton shows up, and hands him his ass on a silver platter. Afterward, Rich Kid Timothy takes them all out to dinner. Later that night Megan finds out about Colton's home situation, and Timothy is seen doing Le Parkour, and hacking into the school's system to get Colton back at school, and the evidence against Dez into the system.

Episode 5:Arc 1

Megan and her Uncle try and get Colton to stay in their spare room.

Note, YES this is extremely cheesy and cliche. It's supposed to be written by Megan who learned most of her culture from Earth TV shows. ^_~

Amazing.

The only thing I would try to do is make the plots of the episodes similar to Young Justice's. For example, episode 1 would be the group meeting not-Superboy in a group of bullies, which is headed by the mysterious club of teenagers. Episode 2 would be about the group working together, episode 3 would be them at exam day with the same teacher their parents dealt with before, etc.

But that's still amazing.

Episode 6, enter Arty? Episode 7, have the scene you wrote in the WMG? And the Klarion/forgot his stage name incident?

@Torquey, I'm a little afraid of doing it like that as I'm trying to do it from Megan's point of view, and Megan wasn't there for episode 1, but the show it called "Hello Megan!", so...

But I will try and reformat them as you say. ^_^

@jenicaaladima, any screw ups on the number of the episodes on the other pages I sincerely apologize for. I'll change them as soon as we have a proper timeline figured out. ^_^

It'd be cool if this show had a dorky metal head named Freddy Goldsmith and an aspiring dentist named Juan Riviera. Even as Those Two Guys. Should they ever show up.

But anyway, I like this, and normally I'm not into the High School AU kind of stuff.

That was just a suggestion. Maybe just try to have the episode plots meld with Megan's interpretation. It's your own work.

@Known Unknown This is based off of the Young Justice cartoon that recently started, a clip of which appears in episode 9 ‘’Bereft’’, and the opening of which appears in episode 8, ‘’Downtime’’, hence why I put it here. If, however, you know of a more appropriate place to put it, I’d really love to hear from you.

@Star Outlaw I don’t own the page, so if you want to add them, I won’t stop you. Just please try to have three(ish) tropes for each (i.e. not just a name) (^_~) , and a theoretical “story” for them so they’re not just randomly there. ^_^

So, I was thinking, Klarion is supposed to be a younger kid, yeah? So what if we changed it so instead of "Will" and "Kyle", having Foe Yay, it's a crush? I mean, YMMV, but I keep trying to see Kyle/Klarion as something other than a 10-year-old, and it's not working. (^_^)'

Um, don't you mean "Daniel"? (I thought Klarion was "Daniel Meek" in this 'verse, who's "Kyle"?)

Hmm, I see what you mean. Not one for the Shotacon implications... maybe a crush label would be better. I saw it as more from Danny's side than Will's anyways... So, he's younger than Tim? That's interesting. Now I'm really curious about how the Mr.Niles thing went down.

It's a joke based off of the old checklist things school kids send to each other- "do you like me y/n circle the one appropriate", but you don't have a choice, its "yes" or "yes" (circle the one appropriate. ^_^

I've heard about that cartoon... But I never actually watched it, so... I was thinking Mr. Niles would have a heart attack, so something where he has to run and overtaxes it would be the case. Magic trick gone wrong sounds excellant....

I had a sibling whose name actually is Madeline. Watching the show was therefore a required part of early childhood. XD Oooh, sounds plot-y... ((rubs hands together gleefully)) How's 'Will' work into this?

Sounds neat^^ Good 'ole clichemmunity, getting those plots in order^^ And random mooks for providing drama... hmm, maybe this could be a two-parter if theres a B-plot for Megan 'n friends. The Atlanta episode takes place around the same time, doesn't it?
