This is for opposites attracting in the context of romance. If either of those would be fitting, it would be the angel and demon one.
Pretty much second this post. Seriously, I mean...Samus and Pitt? What?!
All for the angel and demon idea.
Found this on GIS.
Also found this...I don't know what it's from but, yeah...Man in black and lady in white◊

Again, the problem with angels and demons is that it involves a contradiction very unlike that TYPICALLY implied by Opposites Attract; one should not need to be energetic to admire energy in a girl, or gentle to admire gentleness in a girl, but good associating with evil on such a personal level is a contradiction by its very nature. Even the punk and normal girl◊ from earlier in the thread makes more sense than that.

I finally got around to checking my DA account and the artist of the devil/angel pic gave us permission to use the pic as long as it's credited to her.

I'm for the "punk and normal girl" option shimaspawn suggested earlier:

One problem does come to mind though; it does give off a slight All Girls Want Bad Boys feel...

"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartI'm coming around to that one too.
I like that one also.
Please.I'm not...I think the angel demon one works better. It shows opposite more.
I'd vote for the punk/normal pic.
http://www.mansionofe.comAngelxdemon pictures seem simple and to the point. This one◊ works for me.
"Opposites Attract" refers to differing personalities, but not necessarily to traits that are downright incompatible. As others have said, the idea of good associating with evil is more contradictory than that of dull guys associating with energetic girls, girly guys associating with tomboyish girls, etc...
"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartSure, but angels and demons tend also to have different personalities.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!A picture of Wall-E and EVE might be nice. this one, for instance.
The former is pretty good, but I could imagine the latter looking like he's trying to get away from her to those who haven't seen the movie.
EDITED IN: Here is a cropped and slightly resized version of the former.
In hindsight this is still less than ideal in that it almost looks like he is laughing at him rather than with him. Perhaps we should keep looking.
Also, is that fanart or official art?
EDITED IN again: A couple more alternatives that I know are screenshots:

"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartBoth of those are good, but I lean toward the first one. Is there a version of the second that has more of them in the shot?
It was cropped from this video. (About 2 and a half minutes in.)
"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartI really like the picture of them on the bench and the one where they're holding hands, but do you think we could get a higher-quality version of the second one?

Bumping to suggest one more alternative I can't believe we missed until now: Buzz and Jessie. The modern space ranger toy and the old-fashioned cowgirl toy.

"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartHeh, that's not bad.
I was under the impression that the "opposites" here was meant primarily in the personality sense, though.
There are some differences there as well, but the differences in background are more picturable.
Do differences in background count towards this?
"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartI really like the first Wall-E picture in post 92. The Buzz and Jessie one is nice, but I'm not really seeing the "opposite" part, just two different toys. Doesn't really help that they both look cheerful, energetic and shiny.
What is this "sleep" you speak of?
Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
I like the black and white kittens image, for what that's worth. The angel and demon make for an acceptable second choice.

I reject your requirement for a witty statement or fanboyish squealing in my signature.
