Halo Wars

No Halo Wars 2 in works. Pity.

Darn. I have the demo and its pretty good. The only problem is the low pop cap.

But we have Halo RTS for Command And Conquer 3.

I'm not holding high hopes for that one. Last time I recall Microsoft had Slipstream studios forcefully cancel their Halo Gen mod because it was being developed the same time as Halo Wars.

Bugger. There again, I seem to be the only person on the planet that liked Halo Wars.

I liked Halo Wars. I was just expecting this since Ensemble Studios disbanded.

@Ricko: Are those the guys who are working on Asylum or whatever it's called for Command And Conquer 3? They did mention a "HaloGen" mod on ModDB.

Oh, well. 'twas like the ginger stepchild of the Halo series.

Could've sworn there was already an official Halo Wars thread earlier, but I guess not - this is all that came up. Oh well.

Anyways, we've got some interesting news: some artwork released for the game has spoiled that the plot will most likely take place between the events of Halo 2 and 3, due to the Ark Halo appearing in the background. Also, the Brutes are probably going to be the main bad guys this time around, and they've got their own armored-up version of the Scarab walker.

Maybe, but recall that Halo: Hunters in the Dark had the Ark Only Mostly Dead and then under repair.
