Well, even if no one's here now, you can still work on your profile. Fujiwara's kinda stuffed with players, Imaizumi has less but the characters are more tightly knit, so your best bet is probably Yamanaka. That being said, I haven't been keeping up with Yamanaka, so I cant tell you the readout of the situation over there.

I've already got something in mind, in any case. Doesn't look like the situation in the third city has been so established yet.

  • Name: Fujimiya Noa
  • City: Yamanaka City
  • Age: 16
  • Gender: Female
  • Appearance: A girl of medium-height with short, auburn hair that has bangs that sometimes flops down into her gray eyes. Her build is relatively sturdy for someone who doesn't partake in many athletic activities, providing her with a comfortable body image she thankfully doesn't have to obsess over.
  • Personality: Originally from a small seaside town, Noa moved to Yamanaka City just a few months ago. It's been quite a change for her — one that she is still trying to adjust to. She doesn't really find city life to be all that exciting. Call her a country bumpkin and she definitely won't deny it. She's never particularly been an active person, avoiding most school activites and preferring to go home and sleep. This has only intensified since her move to the city; even to the point where she's starting to become at odds with her parents. Yikes.

Magical Girl:

  • Wish: "I wish I could live unburdened by society's expectations of who and what I should be!"
  • Wish derived special ability: Her wish has granted her with the ability to reject forces which seek the bind or hinder her. This means that she is just about always able to wiggle herself out of traps and force her way past barriers/shields. She's essentially a very potent, very mobile steamroller or freight train. Get outta the way people!

  • Also, in her personal life she will find certain authority figures (like her parents) will suddenly come to expect a lot less of her, which means no more arguments over bad grades. Sweeeet.
  • Weapon: Noa can spawn multiple single-shot mini-cannons that fire — you guessed it — cannonballs. The balls themselves range anywhere from normal ones that put holes through targets to the kind that explode on impact or burst into multiple miniature musket balls that scatter outward. (Basically these projectiles are — or will be once she gains more experience — available to her).

  • The cannons usually float around her in a counterclockwise fashion, awaiting her commands.
  • Magical Girl Costume: A sleeveless rust-colored bodice that has rifle green laces and trimming. Extending from her mid-arms all the way to her wrists are corduroy arm-warmers that are a slightly darker (almost black) shade of brown. The bottom half of her body is covered by a pair of olive-colored breeches with brown stripes running in a zig-zag fashion. The breeches flare out into ruffled hems, each leg having a rust-colored bow tied around their ends. From there black stockings are visible, disappearing into black, corset-laced, zip-up boots.
  • Other: While she relies mainly on her cannons, she won't be afraid to get in closer to enemies if need be. Though don't expect her to start meleeing away like a madwoman. That wouldn't be too effective.

If I made a magic girl, would it be alright if I made it with the sole intent of the girl in question eventually becoming a witch?

I seriously doubt that would be a problem, FL. Many of the currently active characters were designed with death or witchification in mind.

It would be guaranteed that she would turn into a Witch at some point during the RP.

There's no problem with that, especially since all Magical Girls are bound to turn to Witches anyways~

[up]Well, okay, but unless I'm missing something the only other possible fate for a Magical Girl would be death. :x

Yeah, Midreus, it's death or Witchification. Or, Madoka turns into a Witch to rescue you.

Maxy, Noa looks good to me. Things're a little strange in terms of our setup, but basically Daltar's our GM and supreme overlord for Fujiwara and Imaizumi, and I'm Vice GM and overseer of Yamanaka, so I think I have the authority to approve you.

It's been fun.

  • Name: Nana (given) Minori (surname)
  • City: Yamanaka City.
  • Age: 17
  • Gender: Female
  • Appearance: A plain brunette girl, who wears extremely conservative and dull clothing that shows as little skin as feasibly possible- including gloves over her hands and overlarge lasses. Tall and lanky in stature, with moderately fair skin. Her eyes are a muted brown and are permanently arched into a stern visage. She rarely smiles and when it does, it looks either forced or somewhat ominous.
  • Personality: A radical traditionalist who promotes conservative values and makes no qualm about the fact that she despises those who show even the slightest hint of deviation from her narrow world view. Nana believes in conformity and discipline, and has tempered herself into a coldly efficient student with excellent grades and heavy conservative activism within the halls of her private academy. Ironically, she disdains religion as a whole, maintaining that no religion on Earth is as 'truthful' as her own personal philosophies which she preaches quite forcefully to others.

  • Wish: "I wish that I could punish the heretical and spread my own ideals."
  • Special Ability: Nana's zealous wish has given her a powerful aura of self-assurance that allows her to grow more powerful as others grow weaker in their own resolve- essentially taking faith when other lose theirs.
  • Weapon: Nana fights with great iron chains that she can summon in countless measures to entangle and rip apart her enemies.
  • Magical Girl Costume: A still conservative and mute dress style. Her eyes shift in color to a dull red. In addition, Nana gains a large cross like extension which she must remain attached to at all times- if she wants to move she must do so with the cross on her back.
  • Other: Because Nana's wish is a selfish one that essentially brings despair to anyone who isn't her, Nana's Soul Gem balances the merciless wish with a reserve of hope. Of course, Nana's willingness to martyr herself for her cause ultimately leads her to become...

  • Title: Julia, Witch of Faith.
  • Appearance: A great cross that is continually burning with the vague wispy shape of a humanoid crucified to it. The humanoid is stoic, as if it feels no pain.
  • Nature: A zealous witch who has been driven to madness by others refusal to take on her faith. To this end, Julia has isolated herself within a realm where she can be alone with her faith, and ultimately hopes to create a world where everyone thinks in exactly the same manner as her. She is extremely self-assured and arrogant, and is slow to notice threats to her dominion.
  • Witches Kiss: Takes the appearance of an eye of providence on the neck of the victim, representing the watchful gaze of Julia. The kiss inspires this person to great fervor and zealousness for whatever they happen to have faith in- driving them into a blind frenzy of devotion so great the person is ultimately doomed to die of exhaustion.
  • Abilities: Julia whips her loyal familiars into a blind frenzy and directs them against any Puella Magi that would dare invade her sanctum. In addition, Julia can perform attacks that seem to be reminiscent of self-sacrifice, such as literally setting her sanctum ablaze to destroy invaders despite the fact that she is harming herself. However, Julia is so focused and faithful, she is able to weather her self-destructive acts. Ironically, she actually cannot martyr herself with her own attacks, only others can kill her. This is because she already believes she has made the ultimate sacrifices for her faith.
  • Barrier: A great tower than reaches into the heavens. Each floor is consumed by civil war between Julia's two varieties of minion, and each floor is an altar to Julia herself. At the very top, Julia awaits, surrounded only by worshiping Dietriches.

  • Familiar: Dietrich
  • Nature: Familiars who are absolutely loyal to Julia's visions. Their role is to defend and spread the faith that Julia enumerates.
  • Appearance: Handsome but highly abstract men with muscular bodies and featureless faces. Julia's favor of her believing minions is very obvious, as Dietrich are very well clothed and armed with gleaming swords.
  • Abilities: Dietrich are excellent and merciless fighters with the sword. In addition, they posses the ability to psychically torment their enemies with tempting visions and propaganda of Julia's ideals- so strong that these bursts of righteousness instantly overwhelm Giordanos and can demoralize or possibly even convince Puella Magi. Anybody who is 'convinced' turns into a Dietrich, ensuring that conformity is maintained within Julia's ranks.

  • Familiar: Giordano
  • Nature: Skeptics of Julia's ideals. Their role is to personify the heathens that Julia so despises. Despite this, they remains hostile to intruders such as Puella Magi- perhaps to personify Julia's own thoughts about skeptics- that they will lash out at anybody.
  • Appearance: Deformed hulks of men with overlarge heads and dwarfish limbs. Wear tattered clothing and fight with their bare hands.
  • Abilities: Giordanos are pathetically armed and armored and are easily overwhelmed in battle. Their only saving grace is that they are resilient and tend to take enormous amounts of punishment- or are, in other words, stubborn.

Kou's normal profile and Magical Girl profile look good.

I do have some issues with the Witch portion, though. We're still not sure if Witches can coexist in each other's barriers, or even if they would view other Witches as allies. Witches seem to usually be preoccupied by one thing and one thing alone - see Charlotte, for instance. Given the chance, I imagine she'd try her damnedest to eat Dies, not form a protective alliance with her.

Also, minor thing with the name. Witches are usually given European girls' names, and the one we have seen with a title - Kriemhild Gretchen - was in German, not Latin. Why is the name of a pacifist Witch 'Wrathful God', by the way? =)

I don't know much Latin either, but 'Dies Irae' is definitely 'God of Wrath' or 'Wrathful God'. It's part of a Catholic Mass, I believe.

Yeah!

Not like it matters, since I'm dropping the name anyways. See, the idea was to have a Witch that could invoke a Walpurgis Night-esque scenario.
