My favorite would be Durarara's second opening and After Story's opening. The latter is just tear-inducingly BEAUTIFUL!!!

Bleach has some sick openings.Not my favourite of its OPs but my favourite OP song

And despite it's obvious flaws, the Umineko anime had a great opening. Not nearly as good as the VN opening though.

While the show itself is pretty average, RoLW: Legend of the Heroic Knight's OP, Kiseki no Umi, was excellent.

My favorites are Tank, Duvet, Free Bird, etc. My favorite that hasn't been mentioned yet is probably...

It works great as an opener regardless of how far you are into the show, and once you've finished it, you realize it's brilliance.
